This beautiful Teal Blue 1968 Camaro SS is an absolute testament to the current owner. Purchased some seven years ago, upon its arrival from America and maintained and cared for ever since. The car sports all the classic Camaro features such as a front and rear spoiler, Rallye wheels and SS badging and stripe as well as the velocity stack style hood vents. The Teal Blue colour is original to the car and shines beautifully. The car is always stored undercover and in a dry environment. Inside the Camaro is all period correct too, with black vinyl seats with the addition of Houndstooth cloth inserts. Power is taken care of by a 327 Chev V8 which has had extractors and power steering fitted also. The car has always been regularly serviced and runs just like it should. Original logbook, brochures and other affiliated paperwork come with the car as well. Now available for inspection by appointment at our Kogarah facility.
The styling of the 1968 Camaro was very similar to the 1967 design. With the introduction of Astro Ventilation, a fresh-air-inlet system, the side vent windows were deleted. Side marker lights were added on the front and rear fenders which was a government requirement for all 1968 vehicles. It also had a more pointed front grille and divided rear taillights. The front running lights (on non-RS models) were also changed from circular to oval.
Up for sale here is a beautiful example of an American muscle car! Lovingly restored by the current owner it immaculate inside and out. The body is super straight, rust free and has been repainted in period correct Matador Red (originally Palomino Ivory White) and sporting a new black vinyl roof which was a factory option on this Camaro. Sitting on factory correct Rally wheels and includes all other Rally Sport appointments. Inside the car we have a new Bluetooth stereo and black vinyl trim with houndstooth cloth inserts which were also a factory option on this Camaro. The Camaro still runs its fully reconditioned matching number 327 cubic inch Chev V8 engine with Powerglide two speed automatic and original 10 bolt diff. Also has optional power steering, air conditioning and tilt steering. All suspension components are also brand new including the braking system which has been upgraded to a disc brake set up. Imported in 2019 and comes with import approval documentation. This Camaro is ready for you to jump straight into and enjoy without nothing to spend! For sale 1969 Corvette Stingray 427ci Coupe (removable hardtop). Comes equipped with a matching number L36 big block optioned engine (390hp), a 4 speed manual transmission, a sprung diff and factory four wheel disc brakes. Sits on short spoke spider, welded steel wheels from factory.
Body is constructed in Fiberglass. It was resprayed years ago in its factory Tuxedo Black paint code, with matching black vinyl interior. Has been converted to RHD in its earlier days.
