Now available for sale is what could easily be described as one of the best Mazda RX3 Coupes in the country. Every aspect of this car is day one original and honestly hard to believe. There is not a single modification on this car. Originally imported to New Zealand from Japan and then here to Australia approximately nine years ago and since being in Australia has only had two very careful owners. A full feature on the RX3 was published in issue 49 of Survivor Car Magazine. Running its original 10A engine with original four speed manual transmission that runs and sounds just like it did the day it rolled off the showroom floor. Shortly after the GSII Series III the model was renamed to the “GT” which then ran the 12A engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Factory fitted with a working 8 track radio, air conditioning, safety flare, original plastics on all door trims, unused genuine Mazda seat covers, snow chains and even the brand-new spare wheel and tyre! This beautiful Teal Blue 1968 Camaro SS is an absolute testament to the current owner. Purchased some seven years ago, upon its arrival from America and maintained and cared for ever since. The car sports all the classic Camaro features such as a front and rear spoiler, Rallye wheels and SS badging and stripe as well as the velocity stack style hood vents. The Teal Blue colour is original to the car and shines beautifully. The car is always stored undercover and in a dry environment. Inside the Camaro is all period correct too, with black vinyl seats with the addition of Houndstooth cloth inserts. Power is taken care of by a 327 Chev V8 which has had extractors and power steering fitted also. The car has always been regularly serviced and runs just like it should. Restorers dream! This 1969 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is fresh out of a barn and ripe for restoration to put back to its former glory. Having originally left the factory in Pastel Grey as you can see the car has been repainted in red at some stage of its life. Current owner of 25 years plus. The interior is mostly original and untouched but has had an aftermarket stereo fitted. Lurking under the hood is the mammoth 428 Cobra Jet big block engine with matching number and is backed by a four speed Top Loader. Although the car originally came with a C6 automatic and 3.1 9” rear end. Odometer reads just over 63,000 miles and the Shelby starts, runs, and stops for anyone who wanted to make the car roadworthy as is and enjoy it now. The styling of the 1968 Camaro was very similar to the 1967 design. With the introduction of Astro Ventilation, a fresh-air-inlet system, the side vent windows were deleted. Side marker lights were added on the front and rear fenders which was a government requirement for all 1968 vehicles. It also had a more pointed front grille and divided rear taillights. The front running lights (on non-RS models) were also changed from circular to oval.
