Muscle Car Warehouse now has ready for sale this tidy Ford Fairmont XD. Going with the classy Fairmont name tag is the beautiful Hermitage Red colour. The gold pin striping and period correct Bathurst Globe wheels set the car off perfectly. The paintwork has been re done at some stage of the car’s life including door jambs and is still in terrific condition. The interior in the XD is all original and finished in “Camel Cloth” and again is in good condition for its age and still has the original radio and steering wheel. The XD is powered by 351 Cleveland engine which is still the matching number engine for this car making it super desirable. Neither the engine nor any of the other driveline components have had any modifications either. It was originally delivered to Fairford Motors in Wangaratta, Victoria and thankfully still retains the original logbook, owner’s manual, and the Ford verification letter. Factory 351 XD Falcons are becoming desirable and harder to get. Now available for inspection by appointment only in our Kogarah facility.
Factory V8 1966 XR Fairmont. This car has gone through an extensive full rotisserie restoration starting with the metal work done by Metal Master and paint by Recreation Automotive which is absolutely stunning. The car then received full assembly by GrandTourer including fully detailed undercarriage. Colour is Sultan Maroon complimented by factory burgundy interior. No stone was left unturned in the restoration to the highest level including NOS parts used. Would have to be one of the nicest XR Fairmonts we have seen and is waiting for a lucky new owner.
