A 1970 Dodge Charger built to disguise the car that Buddy accelerated to 200+ MPH which started of life as a 383, automatic, Charger 500 but now sporting beautiful bright "Hemi" blue paintwork with white stripe across the rear together with the special #88 livery and fitted with the special nose cone and huge rear wing, making this iconic tribute look like it is doing 200mph standing still!! Under the hood is nothing but the very best, a genuine NASCAR 426 cubic inch fuel injected Hemi engine producing in excess of 500 horsepower all controlled by a MOTEC engine management system. Side exiting exhaust system also adds to the race feel!! The Hemi engine is backed up by a 727 Torqueflite automatic gearbox. Inside is as per original with standard seats in black vinyl. Keeping an eye on all the excitement under the hood are a selection of Autometer gauges. The car sits perfectly on a set of NASCAR Stockcar rims with period Goodyear stencilled tyres. This beautiful Teal Blue 1968 Camaro SS is an absolute testament to the current owner. Purchased some seven years ago, upon its arrival from America and maintained and cared for ever since. The car sports all the classic Camaro features such as a front and rear spoiler, Rallye wheels and SS badging and stripe as well as the velocity stack style hood vents. The Teal Blue colour is original to the car and shines beautifully. The car is always stored undercover and in a dry environment. Inside the Camaro is all period correct too, with black vinyl seats with the addition of Houndstooth cloth inserts. Power is taken care of by a 327 Chev V8 which has had extractors and power steering fitted also. The car has always been regularly serviced and runs just like it should. Based on the humble Impreza family car, Subaru's mighty WRX ranks right at the top of the list of motoring cult cars. The combination of all-wheel drive grip, turbocharging and, crucially, a keen sale price all contributed to this legend - not to mention images of the signature blue and gold works cars howling through the forests in the World Rally Championship. Introduced in 1992, the WRX shared the underpinnings of the previous Liberty/Legacy RS, but each part was refined, enhanced, and encased in a smaller body. Australian delivered cars received a 155-kW version of the EJ20, 2.0-litre horizontally opposed turbo 4-cylinder coupled to the familiar constant all-wheel drive system. A four-speed auto was made available, though most buyers went with the five-speed manual. Acceleration was phenomenal, easily a match for the local V8s of the day, but it was the extraordinary levels of grip the WRX had that made it a legend the era. The flagship two-door STI model arrived in 1999 and limited to just 399 cars for the Australian market.

Firstly, sold and delivered to the first owner through Cullen’s of Arncliffe in Sydney on the 22nd of January,1999. It is believed to have had only two owners in its life. Finished in the iconic colour of Rally Blue Metallic with all the original STI additions including, badging, spoilers, and gold rims. This STI has no modifications and is still in great untouched condition and is displaying approximately 122,000 kilometres. It still retains its original logbook, owner’s manual, and other items for the vehicle. This car is a must have for any Japanese car enthusiast.
