As far as Mustangs go it does not get much tuffer than a ’69 Fastback. This genuine Mach 1 Mustang fastback is finished in red with front and rear spoilers, rear window slats, hood scoop and Mach 1 striping and lastly the very tasteful addition of Minilite rims. Powering this pony is a mild 351 Cleveland engine with quad Weber carburettors sitting on top. For added driveability a Tremec TKO 500 five speed manual gearbox has been fitted and the car also runs a Tru Trac 9-inch diff with 31 spline axles and 3.55 gears. This Mustang sounds as good as it looks. The interior is to factory specs with the exception of some aftermarket gauges. Restorers dream! This 1969 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is fresh out of a barn and ripe for restoration to put back to its former glory. Having originally left the factory in Pastel Grey as you can see the car has been repainted in red at some stage of its life. Current owner of 25 years plus.
