This Holden Commodore VFseries ( SS-V Redline ) based has been optimised by Holden and called it the Motorsport Edition which is part of an elite production with limited numbers available of 1200 in total, powered by a 6.2-litre LS3 naturally aspirated V8 engine that produces 304kW / 570Nm of torque. The Motorsport Edition comes with a unique stripe package, forged 20-inch split-rim wheels, upgraded brake package, cooling system which consists of an additional engine oil cooler fitted and an in-tank radiator water-to-oil cooler for manual models which makes this a Level 3 GM Track Spec , meaning it is capable of being driven hard at any track event without the risk of overheating or part failure with 4 modes to choose from (Touring, Sport, Performance and Track), Sport switches the the MRC (Magnetic Ride Control) to a damper tune and opens the bi-modal exhaust flaps. Performance introduces torque, meatier steering and ‘Competitive’ damping, Track brings launch control in the manual version only while Touring is for your general driving. Also fitted with Magnetic Ride Control suspension that has been custom-tuned by Holden’s engineering team to offer a balance between performance and comfort. The Motorsport also gets a build plate in the engine bay with its build number and ‘KOM’ on its build plate for (‘King of the Mountain’), reflecting Commodore’s 24 Bathurst victories. Interior has been slightly customised with heated performance front seats, metallic trimmings throughout the interior distinguishing it as a limited edition from the SS-V Redline version, embroidered with its model into the instrument-panel trim and a Motorsport commemorative presentation case that includes a copy of the build plate and a video screen that plays professionally shot images of the Motorsport limited edition and a 1:18-scale Biante model of the car. This particular car is build number 566/1200 presented in Redhot, running its 6.2-litre LS3 V8 engine backed by a 6speed manual gear box which has travelled 3700km from new also comes with all paperwork , owners manual, log books, commemorative presentation case, 1:18-scale Biante model, still new factory rubber floor mats by Holden with logo branding and a new car smell with a flawless interior that has no wear what so ever.
