The Holden Special Vehicles SV5000 was a proper V8 bruiser and was built in very limited numbers (359 in total) between 1989 and 1991. Based on the VN Commodore, the SV5000 started life in Holden’s Elizabeth plant in South Australia before being transferred to the boffins over at HSV, who were located in Notting Hill in Victoria at the time. This particular SV5000 is finished in SV Racing Green, one of only a handful of colours available on the SV5000 model. Both inside and out this SV5000 presents nicely and has only minor modifications such as a stereo and exhaust upgrade. Comes with original logbook, logbook folder and broadcast sheet. 1988 Holden Commodore SSGroupA the famous HSV VL Walkinshaw Group A build No. 256 of 750 built ,with homologation specs being a 180kw fuel injected twin throttle body 4.9 litre Holden V8 and a T-5 5 speed manual gearbox ridding on 16inch HSV alloy wheels. This honest and unmolested example presents in excellent condition throughout with mostly original paint still on the car and an unmodified drive train, with its immaculate interior in minimum ware condition with all material still intact , as they were common to crease up. Totally original with a genuine 38,000 km on the odometer with all matching numbers, original Log books, service history, manuals and maintains most of its original decals from factory throughout the car. Sold by Greg Ball Holden Miranda NSW, with 4 previous owners and currently owned by current owner for the past 10 years which has only traveled 3,000km in the time of his ownership the car has been kept in storage to preserve its current condition.
