Starting life as a Factory 383 but now running a 440 stroked to 512 with 11.7:1 compression, making 508.6 RWHP! Twin Holley Sniper Carb (Injection) and Street Dominator Intake, BB Chrysler E-Street heads 210cc 75cc-ported, new timing set, cam lifters, roller rockers. Exhaust system consists of TTI ceramic coated headers and a full custom 3" stainless exhaust with electric cut outs. The transmission is a 4 Speed Hurst Pistol Grip Manual Transmission with a McLeod Street twin plate 18 Spline 10.5 clutch followed by a Mopar 8.750 differential, US Gear CW Pinion 3.7 Ratio, 33 Spline Eaton Tru Trac, 1350 Series Strange diff yoke, 1350 series uni point u bolts, 33 Spline Dutchman Motorsport axle shafts, wheel studs, wheel bearings, Hemi Leaf Springs Hotchkis rear sway bar, Hotchkis adjustable steering rod kit, adjustable strut rods and lastly a quick ratio pitman arm. Team Australia was an auto racing team competing in the V8 Supercars and Champ Car World Series. It was created in early 2005 when two Australian businessmen Craig Gore and John Fish bought into Derrick Walker’s Walker Racing operation. After the 2007 the operation was scaled back to just Will Power. This Indy / Champ car is chassis number 02i-017 and Monocoque number E0148. It was sold new in February of 2002 to Team Green then to Derrick Walker Racing in 2003. In 2005 it was sold to Team Australia and raced by Australia’s own Will Power. Other drivers include David Besnard and Marcus Marshall. The car was also on display at the Surfer’s Paradise Lexmark Indy 300. Originally fitted with a 2.65-liter XFE Cosworth Turbo 800+ BHP engine paired with a Xtract 7 speed sequential transmission but is being solder as a roller only. Now available for sale is this 1972 McLaren Can Am M8F Graduate. Starting life as a Cooper Climax Formula 1 car and driven by famous racing identity, Sir Jack Brabham. The car was then later built as a tribute to Bruce McLaren by an owner in Western Australia. Running a Ford 351 Cleveland V8 engine and a ZF manual gearbox. The car comes with full CAMS logbooks and an extensive amount of paperwork and receipts. It is believed to have been last raced approximately 4-5 years ago at Phillip Island in a historic racing event. 1954 HOLDEN FJ SPECIAL. The Holden FJ series is a range of motor vehicles which was produced in Australia by Holden from 1953 to 1956. The FJ was the second model of an “all Australian car” manufactured by Holden and was based upon the established 48-215 series, commonly referred to as the “FX”. The FJ, of monocoque construction, broadly followed the silhouette of its predecessor, but featured a bolder horizontal styled front grille, along with comfort and decoration upgrades in a new sedan model named the ‘Holden Special’. Nothing says Australia more than an FJ Holden and nothing says immaculate more than one we have here for sale!! Both inside and out this FJ Holden Special this car is simply beautiful and a true testament to all its custodians it has had in its lengthy 67 year life. Finished in its original colour, “Cockatoo Cream” with contrasting brown leather interior this car has CLASSIC written all over it. This FJ also has all of its original running gear and has only travelled a mere 62,000 miles. Sold new by Ziems Great Western Garage in Katoomba, New South Wales on the 17th of November, 1954 with all logbooks and sales dockets still with the car. The AC Cobra, sold in the United States as the Shelby Cobra and AC Shelby Cobra, is a sports car manufactured by British company AC Cars, with a Ford V8 engine. It was produced intermittently in both the UK and later the USA since 1962. With some help from Ford Motor Company and a small team of mechanics, the first Shelby Cobra was introduced in 1962. It was powered by Ford’s 260 engine, and later with the 289 and 427 V8, and it pretty soon took the sports car world by a storm. The combination of lightweight body, small dimensions and brute US power proved to be revolutionary and the car did extremely well in competition all around the world.
This modern day version of the AC Cobra was manufactured by the “Kit Car Centre” in Boksburg, South Africa. The Kit Car Centre built these Cobra’s from 1982 through to 2003 before being bought out by Backdraft Racing. They are longer and wider for added comfort also. It is believed all of them were fitted with Chev engines just like the one we have here which is fitted with a 454 big block Chev engine!! Atop of this big block monster is Hilborn style electronic fuel injection with MSD ignition and aluminium heads producing in excess of 300kw at the rear wheels!! The transmission is a Turbo 400 and the diff is a Ford 9” running Porsche brakes and four link suspension. This beast is not for the faint hearted!! On the outside the Cobra is nothing but eye popping!! From the iconic Blue and white striped Cobra theme, larger flares and huge bonnet scoop to the period correct Halibrand pin drive centre lock wheels and master side pipes!! Inside is black leather covered seats, racing harnesses, period correct gauges and steering wheel. Harness yourself in for the ride of your life!!
