This incredibly special Holden Ute was built for James Brock and was produced by Wayne Park in Queensland who was the original builder of all the V8 Brutes. James Brock first competed in round three of the 2003 V8 Ute Championship at Wakefield Park and went on to finish 3rd in the Championship that year along with numerous pole positions and lap records. In the same year James and father Peter Brock drove the car together and won the “Great Aussie Ute Race” which was held at the Bathurst 24 Hour Race at Mount Panorama. In 2004 the car was driven by Damien White who along with a string of pole positions and lap records won that years Championship. James Brock then went on to race the Ute again in 2005 under the Team Brock banner and under the Brock Race Engineering banner in 2006. James would go on to race the Ute for the last time at the last round of the Championship at Eastern Creek in 2006 where the car finished in 3rd place. The AC Cobra, sold in the United States as the Shelby Cobra and AC Shelby Cobra, is a sports car manufactured by British company AC Cars, with a Ford V8 engine. It was produced intermittently in both the United Kingdom and later the United States since 1962. This AC Cobra replica is based on a South African produced chassis by Hi-Tech / Superformance. With gleaming black paintwork and matt black Cobra style stripes. To keep with the race theme numbering and stencilled tyres suit this Cobra perfectly. Also sitting on period correct Halibrand wheels. Originally built and owned by Sash, renowned car restorer and engine builder from AN Racing in Sydney, the car features a 364 cube Windsor engine pumping out 580hp at the flywheel. The engine is made up from a Dart block, Scat crank and rods, JE pistons, custom roller cam, AFR 210cc heads, Victor Jnr intake and lastly a 925cfm Pro Systems carbie. Helping to get all that power to the ground is a four speed Top Loader and a Jaguar Tru Trac rear end. Stopping power is taken care of by Jaguar discs all round. Now ready for sale is Ford’s final model of the Falcon Ute, the FGX. This Ford FGX Falcon XR6 Ute is in great condition and ready to work or be enjoyed. Built in April of 2016 just months before production ceased on the iconic Falcon Ute model. Finished in striking Kinetic Blue. A small selection of Ford accessories has been added such as a bonnet protector, left and right weather shields, a polished aluminium roll bar, front and rear mudflaps and lastly tinted windows all add nicely to the appearance.
