This US classic cruiser is such an iconic automobile appealing to so many generations still now admiration where ever you park her, photos gal our and "selfies" especially in her stunning in original factory colour combination off "Poppy Red" with her black electric soft top and her matching "Light Ivory/Black Crinkle Pony Interior from factory including full centre console to match and matching door cards and carpets she is a classic beauty that will turn heads wherever you go. With its pristine clean original colors and her straight lines, this Mustang is a true standout. The Ivory/Black sports seats and matching doors cards/carpets provide a nice contrast and give the interior a classy and stylish look. As far as Mustangs go it does not get much tuffer than a ’69 Fastback. This genuine Mach 1 Mustang fastback is finished in red with front and rear spoilers, rear window slats, hood scoop and Mach 1 striping and lastly the very tasteful addition of Minilite rims. Powering this pony is a mild 351 Cleveland engine with quad Weber carburettors sitting on top. For added driveability a Tremec TKO 500 five speed manual gearbox has been fitted and the car also runs a Tru Trac 9-inch diff with 31 spline axles and 3.55 gears. This Mustang sounds as good as it looks. The interior is to factory specs with the exception of some aftermarket gauges. Restorers dream! This 1969 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is fresh out of a barn and ripe for restoration to put back to its former glory. Having originally left the factory in Pastel Grey as you can see the car has been repainted in red at some stage of its life. Current owner of 25 years plus. The interior is mostly original and untouched but has had an aftermarket stereo fitted. Lurking under the hood is the mammoth 428 Cobra Jet big block engine with matching number and is backed by a four speed Top Loader. Although the car originally came with a C6 automatic and 3.1 9” rear end. Odometer reads just over 63,000 miles and the Shelby starts, runs, and stops for anyone who wanted to make the car roadworthy as is and enjoy it now. The styling of the 1968 Camaro was very similar to the 1967 design. With the introduction of Astro Ventilation, a fresh-air-inlet system, the side vent windows were deleted. Side marker lights were added on the front and rear fenders which was a government requirement for all 1968 vehicles. It also had a more pointed front grille and divided rear taillights. The front running lights (on non-RS models) were also changed from circular to oval.
Up for sale here is a beautiful example of an American muscle car! Lovingly restored by the current owner it immaculate inside and out. The body is super straight, rust free and has been repainted in period correct Matador Red (originally Palomino Ivory White) and sporting a new black vinyl roof which was a factory option on this Camaro. Sitting on factory correct Rally wheels and includes all other Rally Sport appointments. Inside the car we have a new Bluetooth stereo and black vinyl trim with houndstooth cloth inserts which were also a factory option on this Camaro. The Camaro still runs its fully reconditioned matching number 327 cubic inch Chev V8 engine with Powerglide two speed automatic and original 10 bolt diff.
