The interior has been trimmed in period correct GTS-R material along with yellow stitching on the steering wheel along with a genuine GTS-R stereo. Running a refreshed 185-kilowatt HSV V8 engine and a factory five-speed manual transmission that runs effortlessly. Also includes a HSV certificate of authenticity. The AC Cobra, sold in the United States as the Shelby Cobra and AC Shelby Cobra, is a sports car manufactured by British company AC Cars, with a Ford V8 engine. It was produced intermittently in both the United Kingdom and later the United States since 1962. This AC Cobra replica is based on a South African produced chassis by Hi-Tech / Superformance. With gleaming black paintwork and matt black Cobra style stripes. To keep with the race theme numbering and stencilled tyres suit this Cobra perfectly. Also sitting on period correct Halibrand wheels. Originally built and owned by Sash, renowned car restorer and engine builder from AN Racing in Sydney, the car features a 364 cube Windsor engine pumping out 580hp at the flywheel. The engine is made up from a Dart block, Scat crank and rods, JE pistons, custom roller cam, AFR 210cc heads, Victor Jnr intake and lastly a 925cfm Pro Systems carbie. Helping to get all that power to the ground is a four speed Top Loader and a Jaguar Tru Trac rear end. Stopping power is taken care of by Jaguar discs all round. This Roadrunner was restored 10years ago back in the USA Cloned to be an A12 version by a fastidious car collector then imported to Australia by a car agent on behalf of the current owner.
