It is believed that as little as 500 – 750 were produced and this example is one of only two in Australia making this car extremely rare and collectable. All being finished in the iconic Monte Carlo Blue Rally Blue, the 555 edition WRX was made to commemorate Colin McRae winning the 1995 World Rally Championship and based off the Version 2 STI. The 555 editions also have a host of other factory modifications on top of the STI model such as a full operational roof vent, larger IHI turbo, alloy bonnet and roof, vented disc brakes, Nardi steering wheel, STI seats and a rear wiper.
