Bronze Beauty! Now available for sale at Muscle Car Warehouse is this amazing 1969 Holden HT Monaro GTS. Another beautiful example of its model and still registered to the daughter of the original owner. This car has had zero modifications and is as it left the showroom floor way back in 1969. The car was treated to a respray approximately 15 years ago in its original Daytona Bronze at which time the GTS stripes were added as the car was not ordered with them from new. The HT was assembled in the Dandenong plant in Victoria and delivered to Wattie Corrie Motors PTY LTD. The Sandalwood trim could not compliment the Daytona Bronze exterior any better and again is without any modifications. Still housing the matching number 186S engine and four speed manual transmission. The car has never been unregistered and still wears the number plates from 1969. Only becoming harder to get. Enjoy as is or upgrade to a V8 either way this Monaro is one not to be missed out on. Please contact one of our friendly staff to make an appointment to view this car.

In the somewhat wet 1972 Hardie-Ferodo 500, the lightweight HDT Torana GTR XU-1 claimed victory against the heavyweight GT-HO, driven solo for 500 miles (800 km) by Peter Brock. This would be the start of the ‘Peter Perfect’/Torana legend, and the first of five Bathurst wins for the Torana in its colourful 10-year racing career at Bathurst. This beautifully restored example is a great representation of the LJ GTR XU-1 model. The factory colour, Patina Gold is unique and displays elegance to this little pocket rocket. Sitting on period correct Sprint Master mags. Sporting the original black vinyl interior which is still in fantastic condition. Under the hood is the matching number 202 “JP” straight six engine with triple carbs. The XU-1 was produced in February of 1973 and sold in March of 1973 through City Auto Sales PTY. LTD. In Toowoomba, Queensland. An extensive amount of paperwork comes with the car too. Showing just under 47,000 miles. 1969 DODGE CHARGER Stock No: 656
Mopar fans knew him simply as “Mr. Norm,” as he and his dealership were synonymous with Dodge performance in the 1960s. Norman Kraus founded Chicago’s Grand Spaulding Dodge in 1962, right as the muscle car era was set to explode. Mr. Norm’s strategy was to focus on performance, and Grand Spalding Dodge quickly became the Mopar community’s prime source for all manner of go-fast parts. He would champion Dodge performance both on the street and at NHRA dragstrips. In fact, in an altered wheelbase Coronet, Grand Spaulding team driver Gary Dyer would often best the factory-backed Dodge racers.

This 1969 Dodge Charger R/T is said to be one of only 232 examples that left the factory with a 426 Hemi motor and delivered through Grand Spaulding Motors in Chicago Illinois. Probably one of the only one in Australia. Further to this it has only travelled just under 31,000 miles and still wears most of its original paint work. The black vinyl roof and black Bumble Bee stripes along with many other factory options add to this car’s extreme rarity. Included with the car are the original colour coded steel rims that still wear their original red wall Goodyear tyres. The stunning “X9” black vinyl interior is in great condition with options such as a console, an AM radio with rear seat speaker and a left-hand side remote control mirror. An extensive amount of paperwork is with the car including import papers, the original broadcast sheet, dealer invoice and a certificate of authenticity to verify this car is equipped with a genuine Mr. Norm vehicle package and a boot lid signed by Mr. Norm. Includes heaps of spares!! If you are a Mopar enthusiast this car is a must for your collection. This Mercedes AMG C63 is in excellent condition inside and out and not modified in any way. It has always been garaged and lived a pampered life by all of its owners and has always been serviced by Mercedes Benz until current and has only travelled just over 79,000 kilometers. It also comes with two keys, logbooks and purchase certificate from 2014. The Mercedes has never been on the track. Being a 507 Edition also adds to the desirability of this model along with the fact it is the last of the naturally aspirated V8 engines offered in a Mercedes Benz. And the stunning 373kW/610Nm 6.2-litre V8 C63 Edition 507 doesn't compromise on performance. Fully kitted out with 19-inch alloys, Nappa leather trim, power sunroof and Harman/Kardon sound system, the C63 shares top-rung status with an elite group of European sports sedans. Based on the humble Impreza family car, Subaru's mighty WRX ranks right at the top of the list of motoring cult cars. The combination of all-wheel drive grip, turbocharging and, crucially, a keen sale price all contributed to this legend - not to mention images of the signature blue and gold works cars howling through the forests in the World Rally Championship. Introduced in 1992, the WRX shared the underpinnings of the previous Liberty/Legacy RS, but each part was refined, enhanced, and encased in a smaller body. Australian delivered cars received a 155-kW version of the EJ20, 2.0-litre horizontally opposed turbo 4-cylinder coupled to the familiar constant all-wheel drive system. A four-speed auto was made available, though most buyers went with the five-speed manual. Acceleration was phenomenal, easily a match for the local V8s of the day, but it was the extraordinary levels of grip the WRX had that made it a legend the era. The flagship two-door STI model arrived in 1999 and limited to just 399 cars for the Australian market.

Muscle Car Warehouse are again proud to offer for sale this 1998 Subaru Impreza WRX STI two door!! This car is one of only 399 delivered to the Australian market and are slowly becoming harder to find. Firstly, sold and delivered to the first owner through Cullen’s of Arncliffe in Sydney on the 22nd of January,1999. It is believed to have had only two owners in its life. Finished in the iconic colour of Rally Blue Metallic with all the original STI additions including, badging, spoilers, and gold rims. This STI has no modifications and is still in great untouched condition and is displaying approximately 122,000 kilometres. It still retains its original logbook, owner’s manual, and other items for the vehicle. This car is a must have for any Japanese car enthusiast. Please contact one of our friendly staff to make an appointment to view this car at our Kogarah showroom.

In August 1970, the first ultra-performance Torana, the GTR XU-1, was developed by Holden along with Harry Firth of the Holden Dealer Team for competition in popular Series Production touring car racing within Australia. This car, built in February of 1971 is a super honest example with only very minimal alterations, only being the front seatbelts and the addition of a five-speed gearbox. The original gearbox and associated items are included with the sale of the car. Originally delivered through Kevin Dennis Motors and owned by Kevin himself who is believed to have campaigned the car in motorsport events up until 1973 when it changed hands to the second owner. The eye popping Plumdinger paintwork has been redone at some point of the cars life and still presents nicely. Inside, although showing signs of wear and tear is completely original and could either be redone or left as is by the next owner. Under the hood is the genuine matching number six-cylinder 186 engine with most of its original components which has recently been rebuilt. Still retaining its original issued Victorian number plates as well as documentation. Now available for inspection by appointment at our Kogarah facility.

With most car enthusiasts, the legendary Torana A9X remains the ultimate Aussie muscle car ever produced by Holden, which is highly sought after by all collectors and car enthusiast’s as one of the most iconic Aussie muscle cars built on our home soil. Which also bares an Aboriginal name (Torana) which means to FLY and this particular model sure did that by being a podium winner for consecutive years at Mount Panorama in the Bathurst 1000. This history making machine may have been a slower seller of the mid 70’s due to 4door sedans which were in high demand at the time, with only 100 available in the hatch version they were certainly going to become a classic collectors item as they sure have.

During 1977 the LX series Torana was introduced to the market with a performance package, ‘A9X Option’ which was available on the 5.0-litre V8-powered SLR 5000 sedan and SS hatchback models. The A9X visually resembled the L34-optioned LH model, but with the addition of a rear-facing bonnet scoop designed to increase airflow into the engine bay (carburettor) to produce maximum power in motor racing applications. The A9X package varied from the old L34 in road form in that whilst the engine was not modified, the A9X nevertheless had some special mechanical features such as rear disc brakes, heavy-duty axles, and a heavy-duty ’10 bolt’ differential.

After being rushed into Group C touring car racing by Peter Brock’s HDT team, gave the A9X a dream debut at Sandown Raceway in 1977 outright winner but wasn’t so lucky at the Bathurst 1000 for that year. The A9X was soon refined by HDT and proved dominant during the following two seasons of touring-car racing in Australia. Peter Brock was victorious in the 1978 and 1979 Australian Touring Car Championships and Bathurst 1000’s . In a show of the A9X’s superiority, Brock and Richards won the 1979 Bathurst 1000 race by a record six laps, with Brock setting the touring-car lap record on the last lap of the race and being labelled KING OF THE MOUNTAIN.

Now on offer is this remarkable Torana A9X Hatch sold by Miall-Phillips Motors NSW with rich history and great provenance, classified as an unmolested rust-free example thanks to the 1st owner that ticked the box to have the vehicle treated for rust prevention from the Dealership by a company called (End Rust) back in 1978 also in that year was the greatest highlight for the 1st owner which he had the privilege of driving Miss Universe Australia to her wedding, with only an external re-spray in its period correct Acrylic paint over 25years ago due to the general ware and tear over the years still represents as a classic survivor. Now a 3rd owner vehicle, which has been well looked after and preserved by all custodians which still presents in stunning condition, also quoted as one of the greatest A9X’s that still remain on our roads today by the A9X Torana Owners Association of Australia. The XA model first introduced in (1972-1973), a totally new design, was the first Falcon completely designed and built in Australia , designers had the opportunity of designing a (pillar-less variant) and a more ‘Australianised’ car. The result was a bulky coke bottle design, sleek in appearance featuring a bigger body, roomy interior and the feel of a fighter pilot cockpit (dashboard), available with a wider choice of engines and a longer list of options on offer. During the time of the XA build, Ford had already closed down its Falcon(XA) GT HO Phase IV program in the wake of the ‘supercar scare’ in 1972. with enough parts left over from the homologated Phase IV model, Ford created a special batch of XA GT’s called (RPO83) Regular Production Option with a total build number of 250 (120 hardtops and 130 sedans), all were virtually unique which featured a bigger 780 cfm carburettor, extractors, a long-range fuel tank and a baffled sump, some extra components such as long shaft top loader gearbox and a Detroit locker nodular iron 9″ diff were also added to the list but not necessarily documented on the build sheet and quietly sold them off without making a fuss and taking away the spotlight of its predecessor as they were destine to top sales with public demand and popularity, they have become arguably as collectible as the XY GT HO Phase3

In fact, the XA model arguably the boldest design of any Falcon model to date this is about true-blue Australian muscle car majesty, with the XA model claiming Bathurst podiums 2 years in a row and being the only Ford model to do so of the 70’s makes this a special model to acquire and add to any collection as it is sure to appreciate in value by leaps & bounds in the future. With recent headlines in Australia, emerging of the classic car sector being the new money-maker, of vintage classic’s hidden away in garages, sheds and overgrown paddocks across the country, value of these classic and historic homegrown vehicles are steadily accruing in Australia and around the world.
