The John Goss Special was a limited edition Ford Falcon release by Ford Australian in 1975 to commemorate John Goss’ win in the Bathurst 1000 endurance race the year before. The car was based on the XB Falcon 500 Hardtop and featured a V8 302ci Cleveland and some specific options including the GS Rally Pack which featured full dash instrumentation, 12 slot wheels , 3 spoke steering wheel and a vented bonnet with locking pins. This particular car is painted in stunning Polar White with an Emerald Fire metallic offset, with polar white painted 12 slots. Interior trim is white vinyl , contrasted against a genuine black dashboard and black floor carpet. Has a completely rust free body which has been maintained by GrandTourer in Melbourne. Factory manual car & still retains its matching number 302 Cleveland. Exactly how many John Goss Special cars where built remains unknown, assuring they are only going to get more scarce and rare, as their popularity are rising among Australian muscle car collectors.
