As you would imagine the engine has all the fruit starting with an 1175cfm APD carbie sitting on top of a Edelbrock Victor inlet manifold. Other components such as a Callies crankshaft, Diamond cut pistons and Oliver conrods help to get this stunning XY down the quarter mile. Backing the engine up is a full manual Ford C4 automatic with a B&M shifter and an 8-inch 6500 convertor. Naturally the diff is none other than a Ford 9 inch with 3.7 gears, Mark Williams axles and Calvert shocks. A custom PWR Performance radiator with matching twin thermos keeps the temps down and the spark is taken care of by an MSD Grid unit. The appearance is essentially all factory GT finished in Raw Orange but of course with necessary upgrades such as a fibreglass reverse cowl hood and Weld AlumaStar wheels. The AC Cobra, sold in the United States as the Shelby Cobra and AC Shelby Cobra, is a sports car manufactured by British company AC Cars, with a Ford V8 engine. It was produced intermittently in both the UK and later the USA since 1962. With some help from Ford Motor Company and a small team of mechanics, the first Shelby Cobra was introduced in 1962. It was powered by Ford’s 260 engine, and later with the 289 and 427 V8, and it pretty soon took the sports car world by a storm. The combination of lightweight body, small dimensions and brute US power proved to be revolutionary and the car did extremely well in competition all around the world.
This modern day version of the AC Cobra was manufactured by the “Kit Car Centre” in Boksburg, South Africa. The Kit Car Centre built these Cobra’s from 1982 through to 2003 before being bought out by Backdraft Racing. They are longer and wider for added comfort also. It is believed all of them were fitted with Chev engines just like the one we have here which is fitted with a 454 big block Chev engine!! Atop of this big block monster is Hilborn style electronic fuel injection with MSD ignition and aluminium heads producing in excess of 300kw at the rear wheels!! The transmission is a Turbo 400 and the diff is a Ford 9” running Porsche brakes and four link suspension. This beast is not for the faint hearted!! On the outside the Cobra is nothing but eye popping!! It was originally ordered with a 351 T code engine (identical to the Falcon GT), FMX automatic transmission and a 9” diff. Further to this this car was also factory fitted with power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, tramp rods and a dual exhaust system. This car is basically a Falcon GT in a Falcon 500 body! Finished in the subtle colour of Skyview Blue and saddle trim and believed to be one of only six cars ordered in the colour with the T code engine. Other notable features are a GT bonnet and driving lights. Currently running 12 slot wheels and GS caps but with the original steel rims and dog dish hubcaps included. It is with great pleasure that we now offer for sale this absolutely striking 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. The current owner, a Mustang enthusiast has owned this car for the last 14 years and prior to that it was with the same family for over 30 years in Arizona. Having spent so much time in this dry climate meant that the structural condition of this Mustang is unbelievable. Still with all of its original floor pans, torque boxes, sills and still in the original red oxide primer as per factory. The sparkling Burnt Umber paintwork and complimented with the addition of the Magnum 500 rims with new tyres and side stripes with GTA badging. No stone was left unturned on the interior with everything replaced and upgraded to Deluxe style trim including seat covers, center console together with the factory option GT steering wheel. The floors were treated to Dynamat and the car also has air conditioning and power steering for added driving pleasure. The beautifully detailed engine bay houses the Ford 289 Windsor V8 engine. Seeing is believing!! A brand new 2012 Ford FG GT FPV R-SPEC with only 55 kilometres!! Pampered by two careful owners. Everything on this car from the Winter White paint to the spare tyre are brand new!! Press that start button and you are immediately treated to the sound of the thundering supercharged DOHC Coyote V8 engine under the bonnet. This particular example has been optioned with the ZF six-speed sequential automatic transmission and the Brembo brake upgrade. The car is build number 78 and comes with its logbook, compendium, certificate of authenticity and all other related paraphernalia. The FG GT R-Spec came with a raft of changes included a launch control system, stiffer engine and transmission mounts and retuned suspension. The suspension gained stiffer upper control arm bushes, stiffer upper strut mounts and retuned dampers at the front, with the rear gaining higher spring rates, retuned dampers, a larger anti-roll bar and reinforced lower control arms. The rear also gained a wider 9-inch wheel package shod with 275/30 R19 tyres and revised toe-link settings. This "R-Spec" also ended up being a louder car than the regular GT and GT-P despite no particular changes to that effect. The R-Spec split public and owners on not only looks but the package as well. For the first and only time Ford/FPV produced a car with major changes in drive and handling. Many existing FPV owners were quick to down play what was actually quiet a good package which significantly improved drive and performance. In total, 175 units were built painted Silhouette black with red accents and a "C" stripe down each side, echoing the 2012 Ford Laguna Seca. Kinetic blue, Vixen and Winter white were the other colours available to order, featuring black accents and stripe package instead. Sporting the famous 5.0 litre Coyote Supercharged Ford engine that pumps out 345 kilowatts which is 462 horsepower in standard form and with 400 kilowatts and 535 horsepower with “overboost” which will slingshot this Sprint from 0-100 in approximately 4.5 seconds and 12.6 in the standing quarter!! It is believed as little as 16 ZD Fairlane’s were made in Track Red. The paintwork is in terrific condition and so too are all the mouldings and chrome work. The car has been treated to a set of five slot wheels and freshly red walled tyres. The adjusted ride height also suits the long lines of the Fairlane perfectly. The trim in the Fairlane is all to factory specifications with rare options such as integrated air conditioning and an original 8 track radio tape player. While the original air conditioning is not operational a much more functional under dash unit has been added. There Is also the addition of extra gauges to monitor the healthy 351 lurking under the hood. The pearl painted steering wheel is a tasteful touch and adds that hot rod feel to the car but remains quite subtle. Under the bonnet is a healthy 351 Cleveland motor once again with tasteful dress ups such as alloy rocker covers, purposeful aftermarket air cleaner and an alloy radiator. Teaming up with the engine is an FMX auto with a 4000 convertor and lastly the original 9” diff with a Detroit Locker centre. When rebuilt the driveline had upwards of $30,000 spent on it. The restoration was completed approximately 14 years ago and has its current condition is testament to all the work that was done. The Ford Falcon XW is a full-size car that was produced by Ford Australia from 1969 to 1970. It was the third iteration of the second generation of the Falcon and also included the Ford Futura and the Ford Fairmont the luxury-oriented version. The XW Falcon was released in June 1969 replacing the XT Falcon. The XW was an extensive facelift of the XT, featuring a new grille and taillights. All exterior panels were new, and the interior was extensively redesigned. Production of the XW Falcon range totalled 105,785 vehicles. 2,287 XW Falcon GTs and 662 XW GT-HOs were built. The XW Falcon was replaced by the XY Falcon in October 1970.

Starting life as a humble six-cylinder work hack this super cool Panel Van has been beautifully transformed into this impressive Falcon GT tribute you see here now. Going from the original Diamond White colour to what can only be described as one of Ford’s here colours of the day, Electric Blue. With all the GT accessories and features added, from the blackouts, stripes, badges, spoiler, bonnet pins and bonnet scoop and lastly period correct five slot wheels. Making this Panel Van go as good as it looks is a healthy solid 351 2V Cleveland pumping out over 400hp with a four speed Top Loader gearbox and a 9” diff. No exceptions were made when it came to the interior either, again all done to factory Falcon GT specs. Starting with beautifully re trimmed front buckets seats, GT door trims, centre console, steering wheel, and dash fascia. The rear compartment area is fully carpeted and looks great. Ford launched an all-new Falcon model in March 1979 and the XD/XE/XF range went on to prove hugely successfully throughout the 1980s, ultimately eclipsing Holden’s Commodore as Australia’s most popular family car. Mechanically simple, the new Falcon was slightly smaller than the outgoing XC model while the running gear was carried over with few changes. The XD was sold in both sedan and station wagon versions, plus the usual commercials, while the model line-up consisted of the base Falcon GL, mid-range Fairmont and upmarket Fairmont Ghia, later joined by the stretched luxury Fairlane and LTD models. In July 1980 Ford introduced a new alloy cylinder head across all six-cylinder models, improving both power and fuel economy, along with electronic ignition and revised cooling. To inject a little sparkle into the range, Ford also announced a highperformance model dubbed the ESP (which stood for European Sports Pack), to evoke the spirit of the earlier GTs. Offering a unique colour palette, colour-coded grille, Marshal fog lamps, front spoiler and 15-inch Globe alloy rims shod with low profile tyres, the improvements were more than just skin deep. Bilstein gas shock absorbers, heavy-duty anti-roll bars and stiffer springs improved the Falcon’s handling, and the ESP came with four-wheel disc brakes, a limited-slip diff and quick ratio steering as standard. Under the bonnet, the ESP was equipped with Ford’s 4.1-litre six and a four-speed manual gearbox as standard, although the 5.8-litre V8 remained optional. Interior changes included Scheel front seats with cloth trim and full instrumentation, making the package the most sought-after and collectible of the XD Falcon models.
Here for sale is a lovely example of an XD ESP Fairmont Ghia. Built in November of 1981 and finished in Silver Grey and starting life as a humble six cylinder car, it has been tastefully upgraded to a more desirable 351 Cleveland approximately five years ago. Before being fitted the 351 engine was treated to a rebuild and recently treated to a reconditioned carburettor, coil, leads and spark plugs also. A new PWR branded radiator with electric fans keeps it all cool to ensure many hours of enjoyable cruising. Backing up the 351 engine is a reconditioned C4 automatic built by Transmit and was installed only nine months ago. The diff is the original one with 3.23 gear ratios. The braking system and suspension have also been recently overhauled with a new brake booster, master cylinder, rebuilt front and rear calipers, new discs front and rear, new shocks (Bilsteins in the rear), new springs and all new bushes. The undercarriage was cleaned and sprayed with Gravelex rubberised coating to protect it all from rust. The ESP has had a closed door respray and the engine has also been painted. NOS pinstripes, door hinge pins and headlights have been restored also using NOS adjusting pins. Inside still retains all its exclusive ESP features from the Mid Grey Scheel seats, red clock and matching red illumination on the dashboard instruments. Also features NOS carpet, new front seat belts, its correct webbing and new seatbelt buckle buttons. The car is also still sitting on its original Bathurst Globe rims including the matching spare and also the original jack. Also comes with a Ford verification letter confirming European Sports Pack option, original 16:1 steering box, original Pioneer stereo head unit and SEV Marchal driving lights. Factory V8 1966 XR Fairmont. This car has gone through an extensive full rotisserie restoration starting with the metal work done by Metal Master and paint by Recreation Automotive which is absolutely stunning. The car then received full assembly by GrandTourer including fully detailed undercarriage. Colour is Sultan Maroon complimented by factory burgundy interior. A wolf in sheep’s clothing!! The Interceptor Falcons were built from Falcon GT 54H body shells including full Falcon GT running gear, larger radiator support with top brace, front crossmember step down plate and dual exhausts. All in a Falcon 500 disguise. New South Wales cars were fitted with FMX automatic transmissions while the Victorian cars were fitted with four speed Top Loader transmissions. This example is finished in Cruise Blue which was a government colour with contrasting tu-tone blue vinyl interior and was used by the New South Wales Police force for highway patrol duties in the Sydney CBD area. The engine is still its original matching numbers 351 Cleveland with 4V heads and FMX automatic transmission. It has also been featured in Unique Car magazine where it also graced the front cover. The XB GT represents the end of an era and is the final chapter in the legendary Ford Falcon GT story. Launched in September 1973, the XB range was restyled with a new split grille, one-piece taillights and some significant mechanical improvements such as the option of four-wheel discbrakes. Having continued the GT lineage with the previous XA, Ford again offered a high performance version of the new XB, moving away from the fire-breathing XR-XY GTs and pitched instead as a more refined GT for the mature executive. Powered by the 351 V8 with a four-barrelcarburettor and developing 300bhp at 5400 rpm, the XB GT certainly wasn't lacking in grunt and could still turn the quarter mile in 15.8 seconds on its way to a theoretical top speed of 200 km/h. With a choice of four-speed Top Loader, Borg Warner Single Rail or three-speed F.M.X automatic transmissions, the XB GT had a limited-slip differential as standard. The XB GT was again sold in either sedan or hardtop guise with blacked-out bonnet, grille and rear panels plus GT badges and luxurious interior. One area the XB GT was improved over its predecessor was the optional fourwheel disc brakes and the press generally sang the praises of the new model - Sports Car World magazine headlined the car as "Ford refines the stormer". In total there were 1950 sedans and 949 hardtop XB GTs built before production ceased in June 1976.
Muscle Car Warehouse is super excited to bring you this irreplaceable example of a Falcon GT, this one of one Ford Falcon XB GT sedan finished in special order colour, New England Green paint code Y051. Believed to be originally one of two made in this particular colour. The first one of the two was stolen and never recovered and this example was ordered as a replacement. This car, built in April 1976 and delivered through “Holmesford” on August 30th, 1976 with a host of factory options such as power steering, integrated air conditioning, power windows and the king of all options, a Golde windback sunroof!! Additional to these options it also features cloth interior, which is all original except for replacement cloth in both front seats, original carpets, radio tape player, tu-tone hood, delete exterior wax, long range fuel tank and an FMX automatic transmission. Dealership accessories consisted of side body protection moulds, electric aerial and internal boot release. Still wearing its original twelve slot wheels with original dress rims, centre caps and period type B.F Goodrich Lifesaver tyres. The GT has been lovingly cared for and maintained by alloy its owners for its whole forty-five year life. Thankfully its original logbook, owners manual and an extensive document trail have also been retained with the car too which verify the 149,000 it has travelled. The car is believed to have had 7-8 owners. As you can see this car has never been restored but instead lovingly maintained by all of its previous owners. Falcon GT nationals award winning car. Being the only one left in existence it is a genuine one of one car and goes without question that it belongs in any serious Falcon GT collection or any car collection for that matter.
