Here is yet another stunning example of a SS Group A Walkinshaw. Once again, this car was originally part delivered to the D’Alberto Holden dealership in Echuca Victoria and kept with the D’Alberto family as part of their private collection until 2018 which was never registered and still remains unregistered with its original blank logbook meaning you could be the first private owner of this very special HSV. In that time the car was only used for maintenance purposes and to this day has only clocked up 1312 kilometres. This car was also allocated build number 333 so that it matched the build numbers of the other Group A’s already in the collection at the time. Just as you would expect this car is in brand new condition. There are no modifications whatsoever and would suit any Commodore or HSV collector. It still retains the original Bridgestone RE71 tyres, original logbook, sales brochure, two sets of original keys and other paraphernalia. Released in September 2002 and produced until August 2004 (with a Series II released in August 2003), the VY series was the first major design departure (both inside and out) of the third generation Commodore range released in August 1997.Unusually, the VY also introduced a limited edition SS wagon featuring the same 235 kW (315 hp) V8 (upgraded to 245 kW or 329 hp for Series II), body kit and sports suspension as the SS sedan. However, it was equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels as opposed to the 18-inch wheels on the sedan. 500 such wagons were produced for Series I, and 350 for Series II. The SS was the flagship sports model of the VY range.
