Now ready for sale is this impressive VF SSV Redline Commodore. Although, this SSV is not your average run of the mill car. Featuring a host of performance upgrades that make this car go as good as it looks. Starting with the iconic 6.0 Litre V8 engine which now features a stage 3 cam, racing lifters, head work, Hurricane headers, high flow cats and a Walkinshaw Performance exhaust system that gives this Commodore a beautiful rumble. Extra to these enhancements is the OTR and MAF-LESS set up which all result in a very impressive dyno proven 330 rear wheel kilowatts!! The auto transmission has also been upgraded with a 2800 stall convertor. Although the SSV model was standard with Brembo front brakes the owner has also upgraded the rear brakes to Brembo items too. The Heron white paintwork has been well cared for and still presents beautifully and looks even better against the addition of the 20-inch GTS wheels. Inside is no different and the condition shows that this car has always been well cared for with no signs of any neglect. Released in September 2002 and produced until August 2004 (with a Series II released in August 2003), the VY series was the first major design departure (both inside and out) of the third generation Commodore range released in August 1997.Unusually, the VY also introduced a limited edition SS wagon featuring the same 235 kW (315 hp) V8 (upgraded to 245 kW or 329 hp for Series II), body kit and sports suspension as the SS sedan. However, it was equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels as opposed to the 18-inch wheels on the sedan. 500 such wagons were produced for Series I, and 350 for Series II. The SS was the flagship sports model of the VY range.

Holden Commodore VL Berlina , factory delivered LV2 5.0L V8 Automatic car which has a spectacular history background,1 of 5 cars in 1988 supplied by Zupps and owned by GMH Holden Acacia Ridge QLD , was used by the Bridgestone Precision Driving Team . Managed by Lloyd Robertson.Prior to its exhibitions it was heavily modified by Ex-Rally Champ Murray Coote head of MCA Suspension and carried out the following works,*Rally Torsion Bars,* Koni Suspension, *Hydraulic Hand Brake, *Strut Suspension and Body Re-enforcement , paintwork with all graphics done by the current driver of the D-Max Team (Dave Shannon). Cars would then go on tour around Australia performing stunts and special events all year round , most of them went on as rally cars or destroyed but this one was the only survivor with all its original log books and delivery paperwork, owned by the previous owner for 27years a great story of Aussie Motoring history and the way it was.Currently running a VP 5.0Litre V8 5speed manual which presents in great condition ready for the next custodian.Now available to view in our Kogarah facility.
