One of Japan’s all-time greats, Nissan's legendary R32 Skyline GT-R was a technological Tour de Force conceived with one goal in mind - to dominate Group A Touring Car racing. Unveiled in 1989, Nissan's engineers came up with the most sophisticated Japanese car yet, combining all-wheel drive and the Super HICAS all-wheel steering system with a sublime DOHC 2.6-litre in-line six. Conservatively rated at 276 bhp in road-going form (the real output was nearer 300 bhp), the R32's high-tech RB26DETT engine was capable of achieving more like 500 bhp in full race specification, thanks four valves per cylinder and twin turbos. Nissan's homologation special was clothed in typically understated bodywork that belied its performance potential; indeed, an R32 GT-R unofficially held the lap record at the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit in Germany. Of course, the R32's track record here in Australia is well known - thanks to its dominance on local circuits in the early 1990s, the Skyline earned the nickname 'Godzilla'. Despite attempts by officialdom to slow ‘Godzilla’ down, drivers Mark Skaife and Jim Richards were able to virtually win at will. The partisan crowds at Bathurst may not have appreciated the Nissan's dominance at the time, but the R32 certainly earned the respect of the Australian motoring public. A limited run of just 100 road cars were sold by Nissan in Australia, priced at almost $110,000 apiece. Available in just three colours (red, black and silver), the Aussie GT-Rs differed from their Japanese counterparts in several details, including the badges, outer tail lamp lenses, Maxima stereo unit and Bosch roof-mounted aerial.

Many world firsts came with this new Japanese Supercar including the worlds first production car to feature "an all aluminium semi-monocoque incorporating a new revolutionary extruded aluminium alloy frame and suspension components. The use of aluminium saved nearly 200 kg of weight over the use of steel in the body alone, while the aluminium suspension arms saved an additional 20 kg. Other notable features included an independent, 4-channel anti-lock brake system an electric power steering system Honda's proprietary VTEC variable valve timing system and in 1995, the first electronic throttle control fitted in Honda production car and also boasted the world's first production car engine with titanium connecting rods, forged pistons, and ultra high-revving capabilities - the redline was at 8,300 rpm - all traits usually associated with track and race engineered cars. The NSX's exterior had a dedicated 23-step paint process, including an aircraft type chromate coating designed for chemically protecting the aluminium bodywork and cockpit design cues from the F16 fighter plane for visibility and openness all a world first and major design changes for the late 80/90's.

Launched in mid-1988, the GTS was available as auto or manual but in white only and received several mechanical and handling upgrades to create a ‘club sport’ type vehicle. Nissan SVD launched a second GTS in mid-’89. This time the car was presented in a far more extroverted Beacon Red with white 16-inch wheels. The second GTS’s interior was restyled; the rear seat was heavily sculpted to match the front Scheels. There was a Momo steering wheel, and the trim was a charcoal grey. As with the white GTS, the build run was 200 and all cars had a numbered dashboard badge. This car is build number 067 of the 200 examples produced. An Aussie legend on two and four wheels. Wayne Gardner’s career highlights include no less than 18 Grand Prix wins from a decade long partnership with Honda, along with becoming the first Australian to take the coveted 500ccMotorcycle World Championship title. Following his retirement from front line motorcycle racing at the end of 1992, Gardner made a much publicised switch to touring cars. This in turn led to Gardner’s foray into the world of road cars, in the form of the Wayne Gardner Racing Road Division's Group A Commodore. Sensing a gap in the market between the increasingly expensive HSV products and the regular Commodore line up. Gardner's outfit planned to offer a wide range of engine, suspension and bodywork modifications at relatively affordable prices. Tapping into the expertise available via his racing team WGR upgrades included a cold-air induction system re-profiled camshaft, revised computer settings, intake and exhaust mods to increase power to 195kW. Based on the contemporary VR/VS Commodore with its slippery 'aero' styling, WGR''s Group A body package was the work of Sydney design studio Talon which included a deep front spoiler with integrated driving lights, side skirts and a boot mounted rear wing complete with carbon-fiber end plates. The choice of wheels was the 18inch 5 spoke alloy MOMO wheel complemented by the custom Recaro interior supplied by Autotek other cosmetic touches included a MOMO steering wheel with a carbon-fiber center console. The main objective for WGR vehicles were to build them with quality tailored for customer requirements. This particular example is totally original which comes with all documentation showing Wayne Gardner Racing as the first owner, logbooks and service history. It is the prototype vehicle (001/033 in the Series 1 model) with unique features that the other 32 examples did not receive such as larger front bucket seats, carbon fiber air box and larger 18-inch diameter rims and not 17-inch items the other cars were fitted with. The vehicle presents in great condition throughout with minimum wear and tear only traveled just over 89,000km This rare classic is a must for any Holden collector or car enthusiast.
As far as Mustangs go it does not get much tuffer than a ’69 Fastback. This genuine Mach 1 Mustang fastback is finished in red with front and rear spoilers, rear window slats, hood scoop and Mach 1 striping and lastly the very tasteful addition of Minilite rims. Powering this pony is a mild 351 Cleveland engine with quad Weber carburettors sitting on top. For added driveability a Tremec TKO 500 five speed manual gearbox has been fitted and the car also runs a Tru Trac 9-inch diff with 31 spline axles and 3.55 gears. This Mustang sounds as good as it looks. The interior is to factory specs with the exception of some aftermarket gauges. This incredibly special Holden Ute was built for James Brock and was produced by Wayne Park in Queensland who was the original builder of all the V8 Brutes. James Brock first competed in round three of the 2003 V8 Ute Championship at Wakefield Park and went on to finish 3rd in the Championship that year along with numerous pole positions and lap records. In the same year James and father Peter Brock drove the car together and won the “Great Aussie Ute Race” which was held at the Bathurst 24 Hour Race at Mount Panorama. In 2004 the car was driven by Damien White who along with a string of pole positions and lap records won that years Championship. James Brock then went on to race the Ute again in 2005 under the Team Brock banner and under the Brock Race Engineering banner in 2006. James would go on to race the Ute for the last time at the last round of the Championship at Eastern Creek in 2006 where the car finished in 3rd place. This beautiful Holden VL Group A replica has it all. The looks of a genuine car but with extra grunt and at a fraction of the price of a genuine car. With a ground up rebuild only completed approximately two years ago this car is ready to be enjoyed. The stunning bright red paint work grabs your eye and is in terrific condition. The Group A spoilers, bonnet scoop, decals and huge 20-inch MOMO star wheels that make this car really pop. Now available for is sale is this beautifully maintained Holden VL Commodore Group A Plus Pack. Released in 1986 it was hot on top of Grice’s Bathurst win. Due to the controversial Energy Polariser, there were two versions of the VL Group A. Holden could see no technical merit in the Polariser and thus refused to fit it to the cars, so Brock refused to put decals with his signature on cars without it. As a result, Brock’s signature only appears on the higher spec variant of which approximately 132 units were made. “Numbered one to five hundred and going fast” is what the original sales brochure read when first released and today whenever advertised they last just as long!! With the current owner of seven years and the prior owner from 2004 and an active member of the Brock Commodore Owner’s Association of Australia. The exclusive Permanent Red has only had touch ups in some areas and is in fantastic condition. Look inside and again it is all about originality. Genuine front Scheel seats, MOMO steering wheel, HDT gear knob, signed glovebox and build tag (#383). This VL has been enjoyed regularly and has travelled only 85,000 kilometres with an extensive amount of supporting documentation including roadworthy certificates dating back many years and the HDT build sheet. The Holden VL Commodore has fast become one of the most popular models produced in the Commodore series. To find one these days in an unmodified state like this example is almost unheard of, particularly being a factory V8 built car. The recently detailed Maranello Red paintwork looks great and presents extremely well. The car sits nicely on a set of 15 inch “Chaser” rims with brand new tyres. Inside, is the Sandalwood interior being in original condition and without any modifications. It is evident that this car has been well looked after and has a good life with only a mere 148,000 kilometres showing on the clock. The VL also still retains its original logbook too. Now available for sale is this 1972 Holden HQ SS. Originally made by Holden to test the market prior to the release of the GTS Monaro sedans and one of only 2800 built. This SS is one of only approximately 382 known examples on the HQ SS Register making this car quite rare. It is also believed it is one of only 26 built series II in the Infra-Red colour in the Melbourne plant. During the current ownership, the car has received a closed door respray which presents nicely. Correct stripes and decals were replaced also. The original SS rims are intact and have also been restored as per factory and have new tyres recently fitted. In addition to this new bumper bars have also been fitted too. The trim in the car is all per factory and is in terrific condition. Seats and door trims have been replaced recently and a general tidy up to return the car to original. Mechanically the car is all standard and is currently running a non-original 253 engine, four speed and standard diff. The car has recently been serviced and the front brakes replaced at the same time. Overall, this car presents nicely and is ready for weekend cruising with nothing to do except jump in and enjoy and is now available for inspection by appointment in our Kogarah facility.
The styling of the 1968 Camaro was very similar to the 1967 design. With the introduction of Astro Ventilation, a fresh-air-inlet system, the side vent windows were deleted. Side marker lights were added on the front and rear fenders which was a government requirement for all 1968 vehicles. It also had a more pointed front grille and divided rear taillights. The front running lights (on non-RS models) were also changed from circular to oval.
Up for sale here is a beautiful example of an American muscle car! Lovingly restored by the current owner it immaculate inside and out. The body is super straight, rust free and has been repainted in period correct Matador Red (originally Palomino Ivory White) and sporting a new black vinyl roof which was a factory option on this Camaro. This Holden Commodore VFseries ( SS-V Redline ) based has been optimised by Holden and called it the Motorsport Edition which is part of an elite production with limited numbers available of 1200 in total, powered by a 6.2-litre LS3 naturally aspirated V8 engine that produces 304kW / 570Nm of torque. The Motorsport Edition comes with a unique stripe package, forged 20-inch split-rim wheels, upgraded brake package, cooling system which consists of an additional engine oil cooler fitted and an in-tank radiator water-to-oil cooler for manual models which makes this a Level 3 GM Track Spec , meaning it is capable of being driven hard at any track event without the risk of overheating or part failure with 4 modes to choose from (Touring, Sport, Performance and Track), Sport switches the the MRC (Magnetic Ride Control) to a damper tune and opens the bi-modal exhaust flaps.
