A new exhaust has been fitted to the car recently and is as close to factory spec as possible. The car has been maintained and improved by its current owner. Bronze Beauty! Now available for sale at Muscle Car Warehouse is this amazing 1969 Holden HT Monaro GTS. Another beautiful example of its model and still registered to the daughter of the original owner. This car has had zero modifications and is as it left the showroom floor way back in 1969. The car was treated to a respray approximately 15 years ago in its original Daytona Bronze at which time the GTS stripes were added as the car was not ordered with them from new. The HT was assembled in the Dandenong plant in Victoria and delivered to Wattie Corrie Motors PTY LTD. The Sandalwood trim could not compliment the Daytona Bronze exterior any better and again is without any modifications. Still housing the matching number 186S engine and four speed manual transmission. The car has never been unregistered and still wears the number plates from 1969. Only becoming harder to get. Enjoy as is or upgrade to a V8 either way this Monaro is one not to be missed out on. Please contact one of our friendly staff to make an appointment to view this car.
This 1985 Holden VK Calais is a fantastic and affordable entry level car into the muscle car scene. Additional to this is the added rarity of it being an original “334 Pack” which means that it is was not only fitted with a Holden V8 5 litre engine, but it was also factory ordered with a four-speed manual transmission. Something not often seen as a Calais was predominately a luxury style car. The renown tu-tone paint scheme, in this case Alpine White over silver with its original “Light Oyster” interior. Riding on retro 20-inch MOMO rims but also comes with 15-inch HDT Aero rims. The only other changes to the car are the fitment of an aftermarket stereo and tinted windows. This Calais a nicely presented example that is ready for lots of summer cruising. Please contact one of our friendly staff to make an appointment to view this car.
In the somewhat wet 1972 Hardie-Ferodo 500, the lightweight HDT Torana GTR XU-1 claimed victory against the heavyweight GT-HO, driven solo for 500 miles (800 km) by Peter Brock. This would be the start of the ‘Peter Perfect’/Torana legend, and the first of five Bathurst wins for the Torana in its colourful 10-year racing career at Bathurst. This beautifully restored example is a great representation of the LJ GTR XU-1 model. The factory colour, Patina Gold is unique and displays elegance to this little pocket rocket. Sitting on period correct Sprint Master mags. Sporting the original black vinyl interior which is still in fantastic condition. Under the hood is the matching number 202 “JP” straight six engine with triple carbs. The XU-1 was produced in February of 1973 and sold in March of 1973 through City Auto Sales PTY. LTD. In Toowoomba, Queensland. An extensive amount of paperwork comes with the car too. Showing just under 47,000 miles. The Holden HQ series is a range of automobiles that was produced by Holden in Australia from 1971 to 1974. The HQ was released on 15 July 1971, replacing the Holden HG series. It was the first ground up redesign of the Holden line since its original release in 1948, and included an all-new body, chassis, and suspension. The HQ was later developed into a series of successor models, finally ending production when the WB series was discontinued in 1984. A Holden SS sedan was released in August 1972. Although marketed as a separate model it was a Belmont V8 sedan fitted with the XV2 option package. Production of the HQ range totaled 485,650 vehicles.
This HQ is one of the very first HQs to roll of the assembly line in July 1971. The factory colour is Blackshaw Green matched perfectly to the Olive Green trim with distinctive Raydo cloth inserts. All original inside and out just like it left the factory. The white walls, hubcaps and mudflaps certainly make this beautiful Premier look the part. Don’t let the stock appearance fool you though. Sitting under the hood is a mild 350 Chev V8 motor backed up with a Turbo 400 auto transmission. This car is ideal for anyone looking for a great entry level cruiser at an affordable price. Is there anything more Australian than V8 Holden Ute? We don’t think there is, and if you agree than this gorgeous rotisserie restored 1974 Holden HQ Belmont Ute must be seen to be believed. Not only has been beautifully restored but it is also quite rare too. Special order with a 253 4.2 litre Holden V8 engine has been mildly worked and sits perfectly in the super clean engine bay. Behind that is the M20 four-speed manual transmission. Finished in Willow with brown trim colour scheme. When restored air conditioning, GTS wheels and mudflaps were added. The Belmont comes with its logbooks, owner’s manual, original number plates and a Holden Historical Services Production Report stating it was originally sold from Ross Hannon Motors, Balgowlah on Sydney’s northern beaches. Here is yet another stunning example of a SS Group A Walkinshaw. Once again, this car was originally part delivered to the D’Alberto Holden dealership in Echuca Victoria and kept with the D’Alberto family as part of their private collection until 2018 which was never registered and still remains unregistered with its original blank logbook meaning you could be the first private owner of this very special HSV. In that time the car was only used for maintenance purposes and to this day has only clocked up 1312 kilometres. This car was also allocated build number 333 so that it matched the build numbers of the other Group A’s already in the collection at the time. Just as you would expect this car is in brand new condition. There are no modifications whatsoever and would suit any Commodore or HSV collector. It still retains the original Bridgestone RE71 tyres, original logbook, sales brochure, two sets of original keys and other paraphernalia. There are no signs of wear on the steering wheel, gear knob or handbrake handle. To find another Walkinshaw as good as this one would be near impossible. Please contact one of our friendly staff to make an appointment to view this car at our Kogarah showroom.

This incredibly special Holden Ute was built for James Brock and was produced by Wayne Park in Queensland who was the original builder of all the V8 Brutes. James Brock first competed in round three of the 2003 V8 Ute Championship at Wakefield Park and went on to finish 3rd in the Championship that year along with numerous pole positions and lap records. In the same year James and father Peter Brock drove the car together and won the “Great Aussie Ute Race” which was held at the Bathurst 24 Hour Race at Mount Panorama. In 2004 the car was driven by Damien White who along with a string of pole positions and lap records won that years Championship. James Brock then went on to race the Ute again in 2005 under the Team Brock banner and under the Brock Race Engineering banner in 2006. James would go on to race the Ute for the last time at the last round of the Championship at Eastern Creek in 2006 where the car finished in 3rd place. In August 1970, the first ultra-performance Torana, the GTR XU-1, was developed by Holden along with Harry Firth of the Holden Dealer Team for competition in popular Series Production touring car racing within Australia. This car, built in February of 1971 is a super honest example with only very minimal alterations, only being the front seatbelts and the addition of a five-speed gearbox. The original gearbox and associated items are included with the sale of the car. Originally delivered through Kevin Dennis Motors and owned by Kevin himself who is believed to have campaigned the car in motorsport events up until 1973 when it changed hands to the second owner. The eye popping Plumdinger paintwork has been redone at some point of the cars life and still presents nicely. Inside, although showing signs of wear and tear is completely original and could either be redone or left as is by the next owner. Under the hood is the genuine matching number six-cylinder 186 engine with most of its original components which has recently been rebuilt. Still retaining its original issued Victorian number plates as well as documentation. Now available for inspection by appointment at our Kogarah facility.
The Holden VL Commodore has fast become one of the most popular models produced in the Commodore series. To find one these days in an unmodified state like this example is almost unheard of, particularly being a factory V8 built car. The recently detailed Maranello Red paintwork looks great and presents extremely well. The car sits nicely on a set of 15 inch “Chaser” rims with brand new tyres. Inside, is the Sandalwood interior being in original condition and without any modifications. It is evident that this car has been well looked after and has a good life with only a mere 148,000 kilometres showing on the clock. The VL also still retains its original logbook too. A great entry level car and perfect for weekend cruising. Now available for inspection by appointment only at our Kogarah facility.

March 1974 had the first completely new Torana body, with the arrival of the larger mid-sized LH series, produced in four-door sedan style only. Despite the larger external size, the car was relatively cramped by mid-1970s standards. The 5.0-litre engine was reserved for the sporting LH Torana SL/R 5000 sedan. A special build derivative of the SL/R 5000 was the Bathurst-intended ‘L34 Option’, of which only 263 were built, with a higher-compression engine with stouter components for more power and durability in competition use. The most notable external feature of the L34 was the bolt-on wheel arch extensions, designed to accommodate the larger racing rims and tyres. Overall, a total of 70,184 LH Toranas was built. A few special models of the LH were built, the somewhat sporting Plus 4 and G-Pak models. The Plus 4 arrived in September 1974 and was an attempt to move a few more of the slow-selling four-cylinder models. The G-Pak, first seen in February 1975, received the 3.3-litre inline-six. Both came with a four-speed manual, sporting instrumentation, and disc brakes in front.
How cool is this?! A stunning representation of the SL/R L32 Torana. One of the very few that has survived in untouched condition. No flares, no spoilers, no drop tank, and factory ordered in attractive Chrome Yellow this beautiful Torana is an absolute pleasure to see as it is. Having only being repainted in the last three years with only very minimal rust repairs and body work required. All the original badging was replaced and blackouts re done to factory specifications. Even the original hubcaps were retained. Open the doors and you are again treated to totally original “19X” black vinyl interior except for the front two seats which were recovered at the same time the car was repainted. The car is displaying just over 74,000 kilometres and the condition of the car matches that perfectly. Under the bonnet is also the original 253 4.2 litre Holden V8 engine without any major modifications. The gearbox is the original M20 unit and shifts through the gears as it should. This beautiful Torana is a stunning example of an L32 and is perfect for weekend cruising and club events. Now available for inspection by appointment only in our Kogarah facility.

Named after the Monaro region in New South Wales (although pronounced differently), Holden's new coupé was introduced in July 1968 in a two-door pillarless hardtop design available in three models: base, GTS and GTS 327. The base Monaro had a standard 161 cubic inch six cylinder engine or the extra cost options of two versions of 186 cubic inch six cylinder engines. The Monaro GTS came standard with the more powerful 186'S' engine and both base model and GTS could be optioned with a 307 cubic inch Chevrolet sourced V8 engine. The exclusive Monaro 'GTS 327' model was powered by a 327 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 engine rated at 250 horsepower, available only with a 4-speed manual transmission. The HK Monaro GTS327 gave Holden its first victory in the 1968 Hardie-Ferodo 500 at the hands of Bruce McPhee and co-driver Barry Mulholland. Whilst Mulholland only drove one of the total 130 race laps, McPhee drove the remainder and also scored both pole position and fastest lap of the race.
Up for sale here is this genuine Holden HK Monaro GTS. Lovingly owned by the current owner since 1990 and restored in 2001. Restored with the intention of being used and enjoyed. The Ermine White paintwork still presents well with only very minor signs of wear and tear. Still sporting GTS wheel arch moulds, striping, and badging. The trim in this car is also still in beautiful condition and all done to original specs with the only modification being an aftermarket CD player that has been installed in the glovebox so that the original theme is kept within the interior. The car sits tastefully on American Racing wheels, again still in great condition. Under the bonnet is of course a healthy V8 Chev engine which runs perfectly. Backing that is a Saginaw four speed manual transmission and then finally a 10 bolt Salisbury diff. Since being restored this Monaro has been entered in many shows such as Summernats and the 2004 Monaro Nationals at Bathurst where it took out Top HK modified. It has always been garaged and only travelled 20,000 miles since the restoration was completed. For any further information do not hesitate to contact Muscle Car Warehouse.
The EH was released in August 1963 replacing the Holden EJ series and was the first Holden to incorporate the new "Red" engine, with a 7 main bearing crankshaft instead of the 4 main bearing crankshaft used in the "Grey" engine. A larger capacity 149 ci engine was first only sold attached to a three-speed manual gear box or the "Hydramatic" 4 stage automatic transmission with a (column shift). The Controlled Coupling Hydramatic used in the EH was actually a four stage although it effectively worked as a three speed unit except at full throttle. The 179 ci engine was initially only sold with the "Hydramatic". The first EH with a 179 ci engine and a manual gear box was called the "EH-S4", fitted with an up-graded manual gear box, with stronger gears than the 149ci gear box and an up-graded clutch. The threespeed manual (column shift) gear boxes had no synchromesh on first gear and only synchromesh on the second and third 'top gear’. A total of 256,959 EH Holdens were produced and sold from 1963 to 1965, when the EH was replaced by the Holden HD series.
Here we offer this absolutely stunning example of a 1964 EH Holden Premier. It is believed to have three careful owners, the first one right up until 1998. Since then the car had an external respray in its original Silver Mink colour along with the Fowlers Ivory roof complete with all factory body mouldings and badges. This car is as it left the factory in every other way accept for the addition of a radio although the original radio blank is included. Matching perfectly with the silver and white exterior is the beautiful all original red interior. The original 179 cubic inch motor runs beautifully and the original Hydramatic automatic gearbox shifts just like it should. Of a car of this age it runs like a dream. Also rare to find in a car of this vintage, is the original logbook, logbook folder, owners manual and Nasco accessories brochure. The car was originally sold by Rhodes Motor Co. in Melbourne. Original jack, tool kit and period style spare tyre still remain with the car. Whether you're a collector or someone who wants an immaculate cruiser this is a car that certainly needs considering. Contact Muscle Car Warehouse today to arrange a video inspection of this beautiful classic Holden.
Released in September 2002 and produced until August 2004 (with a Series II released in August 2003), the VY series was the first major design departure (both inside and out) of the third generation Commodore range released in August 1997.Unusually, the VY also introduced a limited edition SS wagon featuring the same 235 kW (315 hp) V8 (upgraded to 245 kW or 329 hp for Series II), body kit and sports suspension as the SS sedan. However, it was equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels as opposed to the 18-inch wheels on the sedan. 500 such wagons were produced for Series I, and 350 for Series II. With most car enthusiasts, the legendary Torana A9X remains the ultimate Aussie muscle car ever produced by Holden, which is highly sought after by all collectors and car enthusiast’s as one of the most iconic Aussie muscle cars built on our home soil. Which also bares an Aboriginal name (Torana) which means to FLY and this particular model sure did that by being a podium winner for consecutive years at Mount Panorama in the Bathurst 1000. This history making machine may have been a slower seller of the mid 70’s due to 4door sedans which were in high demand at the time, with only 100 available in the hatch version they were certainly going to become a classic collectors item as they sure have.
During 1977 the LX series Torana was introduced to the market with a performance package, ‘A9X Option’ which was available on the 5.0-litre V8-powered SLR 5000 sedan and SS hatchback models. The A9X visually resembled the L34-optioned LH model, but with the addition of a rear-facing bonnet scoop designed to increase airflow into the engine bay (carburettor) to produce maximum power in motor racing applications. The A9X package varied from the old L34 in road form in that whilst the engine was not modified, the A9X nevertheless had some special mechanical features such as rear disc brakes, heavy-duty axles, and a heavy-duty ’10 bolt’ differential.
After being rushed into Group C touring car racing by Peter Brock’s HDT team, gave the A9X a dream debut at Sandown Raceway in 1977 outright winner but wasn’t so lucky at the Bathurst 1000 for that year. The A9X was soon refined by HDT and proved dominant during the following two seasons of touring-car racing in Australia. Peter Brock was victorious in the 1978 and 1979 Australian Touring Car Championships and Bathurst 1000’s . In a show of the A9X’s superiority, Brock and Richards won the 1979 Bathurst 1000 race by a record six laps, with Brock setting the touring-car lap record on the last lap of the race and being labelled KING OF THE MOUNTAIN.

Now a 3rd owner vehicle, which has been well looked after and preserved by all custodians which still presents in stunning condition, also quoted as one of the greatest A9X’s that still remain on our roads today by the A9X Torana Owners Association of Australia. Guesstimated by the (A9X TOAA) that only 50% of A9X hatch’s throughout Australia still survive making this particular vehicle among the rarest Aussie classics. Presented in Jasmine Yellow with contrasting Slate Black vinyl trim and all matching numbers (L31) 308 V8, M21 4speed manual gear box and 3.08:1 diff retaining all its original glass, rare brake air ducts, Log books / owners manual, all service history GMH Authenticity Letter, Warranty card and magazine featured articles, ridding on its original day one A9X wheels with codes visible on all rims including spare wheel in boot plus the bonus HATCH HUTCH in its original case stored away in the boot.
