Once again, this car was originally part delivered to the D’Alberto Holden dealership in Echuca Victoria and kept with the D’Alberto family as part of their private collection until 2018 which was never registered and still remains unregistered with its original blank logbook meaning you could be the first private owner of this very special HSV. In that time the car was only used for maintenance purposes and to this day has only clocked up 1312 kilometres. This car was also allocated build number 333 so that it matched the build numbers of the other Group A’s already in the collection at the time. Just as you would expect this car is in brand new condition. There are no modifications whatsoever and would suit any Commodore or HSV collector. It still retains the original Bridgestone RE71 tyres, original logbook, sales brochure, two sets of original keys and other paraphernalia. The AC Cobra, sold in the United States as the Shelby Cobra and AC Shelby Cobra, is a sports car manufactured by British company AC Cars, with a Ford V8 engine. It was produced intermittently in both the United Kingdom and later the United States since 1962. This AC Cobra replica is based on a South African produced chassis by Hi-Tech / Superformance. With gleaming black paintwork and matt black Cobra style stripes. To keep with the race theme numbering and stencilled tyres suit this Cobra perfectly. Also sitting on period correct Halibrand wheels. Originally built and owned by Sash, renowned car restorer and engine builder from AN Racing in Sydney, the car features a 364 cube Windsor engine pumping out 580hp at the flywheel. The engine is made up from a Dart block, Scat crank and rods, JE pistons, custom roller cam, AFR 210cc heads, Victor Jnr intake and lastly a 925cfm Pro Systems carbie. Helping to get all that power to the ground is a four speed Top Loader and a Jaguar Tru Trac rear end. Stopping power is taken care of by Jaguar discs all round.
