Surfs up!! Fresh to the market is this simply stunning 1971 Ford XY Falcon GT replica. Starting out as a South African XY GT therefore equipped with genuine GT items such as the radiator support and exhaust hangers. Using mostly new parts throughout the restoration this XY is most certainly on the higher end of the scale when it comes to GT replicas. Prior to the Surfer Orange colour being laid down a windback sunroof was supplied and fitted by “Option 10” which definitely adds desirability. All the chrome and mouldings were also re done prior to fitment. New stripes and badges have also been fitted. Under the hood lives the original 351 4V “D” block Cleveland engine stroked to 408 cubic inches housing a host of goodies that result in a whopping 507 horsepower at the wheels. A Top Loader four speed gearbox and genuine XY length 9” help get that power to the ground. No stone was left unturned when it came to the interior neither, with retrimmed seats, new rooflining and carpet as well as door trims. Still retains the genuine Super Fringe push button radio also. As you would expect the car rides on 5 slot wheels with red wall tyres. Look underneath and you will see a beautifully detailed undercarriage with all parts either restored or replaced. The VS GTS-R was easily one of the most iconic released in the modern-day era. With only 85 examples produced (10 of which were delivered to New Zealand). As time has gone on the VS GTS-R has become quite a popular car to replicate and has gained somewhat of a following as a result of the values of a genuine example becoming scarce and not to mention their increasing values over the years too. This GTS-R replica which started life as a genuine VS Clubsport has been professionally restored from bare metal and finished in the iconic “XU-3 Yellah” colour. All of the GTS-R extras such as body kit, period correct rear wing with working LED brake light, badging, decals, and 20-inch colour correct tri spoke wheels. The interior has been trimmed in period correct GTS-R material along with yellow stitching on the steering wheel along with a genuine GTS-R stereo. In the classic and muscle car scene there a few certain models that have particularly strong following. The Holden VL Commodore is one of them. In just about any form or genre the Holden VL Commodore is an extremely popular car. This VL Commodore that we offer to you for sale is up there with the rarest of them. Muscle Car Warehouse is now offering this 1970 Ford Falcon XW GTHO Phase II. This exact car was purchased by George Altomonte, the owner of Alto Ford in Sydney’s north for employee Bob Holden to race in the 1970 endurance events at Sandown and Bathurst. Bob Holden retired from the Sandown 3 hour with a mechanical issue after 52 laps. Bob Holden finished 14th at Bathurst after constant brake issues during the race. Driving solo, he finished 7 laps behind winner Allan Moffat. Like many cars of the era, it was sold and used on the road. It found its way to back to Australia from New Zealand in 2017. It has been restored to its Bathurst 1970 livery including roll cage and racing harness. Entered in both the 2017 and 2023 Falcon GT Nationals events. The GTHO has undergone a restoration at some time and as the pictures show, still presents beautifully. The opportunity to purchase a car with such provenance rarely arises. The VL SS Group A was the second car built for Group A racing purposes and numbered 500 in total. Released in 1986 it was hot on top of Grice’s Bathurst win and the launch of the Unleaded V8. Due to the controversial Energy Polariser there were two versions of the Group A. As a result, Brock’s signature only appears on the higher spec “Plus Pack” variant of which only 173 units were made. “Numbered 1 to 500 and going fast” is what the original sales brochure read when first released and today whenever advertised they last just as long!! Up for sale here is a nice example of HDT‘s second generation Group A Brock Commodore. From its exclusive colour Permanent Red together with the original body kit, unique Plus Pack decals to the factory option MOMO star rims including spare. This 1985 Holden VK Calais is a fantastic and affordable entry level car into the muscle car scene. Something not often seen as a Calais was predominately a luxury style car. The renown tu-tone paint scheme, in this case Alpine White over silver with its original “Light Oyster” interior. This XBGT was entered and issued with a Cannonball Run number plate, 240. The race covered 3,755 kilometres stretching from Darwin, down the Stuart Highway all the way to Alice Springs. The 1994 Cannonball Run was a legal event run in the Northern Territory, Australia from 22 May to 27 May 1994. Being built in May of 1976 makes this car special also as it is one of only 13 cars finished in Outback Bronze with Walnut Glow accents. The saddle trim also presents nicely. It still wears its original 12 slots wheels with centre caps as well as other original items such as the radio cassette and long-range tank. Currently running a healthy 351 4V Cleveland (JG66 XAGT block) which sounds awesome through the side exiting exhaust and backed by a four speed Top Loader and 9” diff. Launched in mid-1988, the GTS was available as auto or manual but in white only and received several mechanical and handling upgrades to create a ‘club sport’ type vehicle. Nissan SVD launched a second GTS in mid-’89. This time the car was presented in a far more extroverted Beacon Red with white 16-inch wheels. The second GTS’s interior was restyled; the rear seat was heavily sculpted to match the front Scheels. There was a Momo steering wheel, and the trim was a charcoal grey. As with the white GTS, the build run was 200 and all cars had a numbered dashboard badge. This car is build number 067 of the 200 examples produced. It is a factory manual car and still retains its logbook and owner’s manual. Please contact one of our friendly staff to make an appointment to view this car at our Kogarah showroom.
The Ford XW Falcon GTHO Phase II is arguably the toughest of all the GTHO models Ford made. With all of the 267 examples produced having “solid” 351 4V Cleveland engines, 31 spline Top Loader gearboxes and differentials. Falcon GT enthusiasts would argue that the Phase II is their favourite. This example, restored approximately 15 years ago in its original colour of Diamond White with saddle interior. It was originally delivered to Duhig Ford in Essendon, Victoria and was built in August of 1970. The only variations from original are a pair of extractors, paired with a stainless-steel exhaust system and a Phase III style brake vacuum tank. The original exhaust manifolds are included with the sale. The car was entered in the 2009 Falcon GT Nationals where it took out second place in its class. Also included in the sale of the vehicle is a display stand and board. Contact one of our friendly staff to make an appointment to view this GTHO at our Kogarah facility.
This GTS-R W1 is everything any Holden fan wants to own. The looks, sound and performance are all perfectly matched to one another and are hard to beat as far as collectability goes in the HSV range. Starting with the astonishing Spitfire colour to the ground shaking LS9 supercharged engine this car does not disappoint. The subtle “W1” badging gives off a hint of subtleness and so too do the huge Black 20” wheels. Originally offered in only eight colours, this one would have to be one of the best available. Sold through Suttons Chullora in Sydney the W1 was originally ordered from the factory with every option available on this model such as an electric tilt and slide sunroof, Phantom Black roof, Black 20” spare wheel with cover and Covercraft GTS-R W1 individually numbered weather shield HP car cover. The W1 has only travelled a ridiculously low 522 kilometres to date. This example is build number 45 of the total 275 cars made and believed to be one of only 14 in Spitfire. Whatever you do, do not miss this opportunity to secure this very special W1. Located Perth, Western Australia. Please contact one of our friendly staff to make an appointment to view this car.
In 2007, Ford drew inspiration from the hallowed names of the past and recreated a legend with the limited-edition FPV GT Cobra. Released at the Sydney Motor Show in both sedan and Ute models, the new GT celebrated the Cobra name last seen in the Seventies on the famous white and blue XC hardtops that scored a memorable victory at Bathurst in 1977. Indeed, the latest Cobra was unveiled on a parade lap of Mount Panorama before the 2007 Bathurst 1000, exactly 30 years after Colin Bond and Allan Moffat’s triumphant 1-2 finish. As with the first-generation Cobra’s, just 400 individually numbered examples of the new FPV GT Cobra sedan were made available, snapped up by enthusiasts, many of whom already owned one of the original XC Cobras.
This Ford FPV GT Cobra was purchased brand new by the current owner from Carmichael Ford. During that time the owner has made some mechanical upgrades to the car which include Herrod camshafts, aftermarket air box and an X Force exhaust. Other extras consist of dealer fitted Bluetooth set up and a reverse camera. The Cobra is also running factory optioned Brembo brakes. It has also been tuned and runs on 98 octane fuel. Build number is 0336/400 and it is also fitted with the six-speed manual transmission which has been fitted with a Mal Wood Quick Shifter and a Hurst style lever and Tremec gear knob. All of the original parts that have been removed from the car are included with the sale. Retaining the Ford compendium and original logbooks. This Cobra is one of only 127 examples fitted with a manual transmission and is also an ’08 build which marked 30 years since the release of the Ford Falcon XC Cobras. The Cobra has recently had the roof lining re done and four new Michelin tyres fitted. Personalised Queensland issued plates “8COBRA” are also available with the car by negotiation. Now available for inspection by appointment only at our Kogarah facility.
When HSV said they saved the best till last, they were right. The Holden VN Group A was something else when released in 1990. Being the lowest production bult HSV and even compared to by some to the Ford Falcon XY GTHO. Here is your opportunity to own what could easily be described as the best example of a VN Group A. in existence. Owned personally up until 2018 by the D’Álberto family, owners of the reputable D’Alberto Holden dealership in Echuca, Victoria. Initially HSV planned to produce 500 examples, but it is commonly known that only 302 examples were produced. This particular car wears build number 333 as this was the build number of the other three Group A Commodores in the D’Abreo collection so therefore HSV honoured this and still allocated this build number to this car. With just over 1800km this car could almost be described as a brand-new car and is totally untouched from front to back. This Group A was never registered and still remains unregistered and comes with its two sets of keys original blank logbook meaning you could be the first private owner of this very special HSV. This Group A needs to be seen to be believed and is definitely one for the serious Holden or HSV collector. Please contact one of our friendly staff to make an appointment to view this car at our Kogarah showroom.

The XT Falcon range was introduced in March 1968 as a facelifted version of the XR Falcon, which it replaced. The XT featured a revised grille and taillights and improved safety features including split-system brakes, larger tyres, and electrically operated windscreen washers. Standard equipment in the luxury Fairmont models included bucket seats, front disc brakes, a heater/demister, a wood-grain dash, carpet, and courtesy lamps in all four doors. The Fairmont Wagon featured an electrically operated tailgate. The Ford Falcon (XT) is a full-size car that was produced by Ford Australia from 1968 to 1969. It was the second iteration of the second generation of the Falcon and also included the Ford Fairmont (XT)—the luxury-oriented version. An XT Falcon GT driven by Bill Gates and Jim Bertram scored an outright victory in the 1969 Rothmans 12 Hour Classic race for production cars at Surfers Paradise International Raceway on 5 January 1969. A team of three XT Falcon GTs won the Teams prize in the 1968 London-Sydney Marathon, finishing 3rd, 6th and 8th outright.

The W1 has only travelled a ridiculously low 521 kilometres to date. This example is build number 45 of the total 275 cars made and believed to be one of only 14 in Spitfire. Whatever you do, do not miss this opportunity to secure this very special W1. Now available for inspection by appointment only at our Kogarah facility.
Now available for sale is this 1972 Holden HQ SS. Originally made by Holden to test the market prior to the release of the GTS Monaro sedans and one of only 2800 built. This SS is one of only approximately 382 known examples on the HQ SS Register making this car quite rare. It is also believed it is one of only 26 built series II in the Infra-Red colour in the Melbourne plant. During the current ownership, the car has received a closed door respray which presents nicely. Correct stripes and decals were replaced also. The original SS rims are intact and have also been restored as per factory and have new tyres recently fitted. In addition to this new bumper bars have also been fitted too. The trim in the car is all per factory and is in terrific condition. Seats and door trims have been replaced recently and a general tidy up to return the car to original. Mechanically the car is all standard and is currently running a non-original 253 engine, four speed and standard diff. The car has recently been serviced and the front brakes replaced at the same time. Overall, this car presents nicely and is ready for weekend cruising with nothing to do except jump in and enjoy and is now available for inspection by appointment in our Kogarah facility.
The XR series was introduced in September 1966. The XR series was initially offered in nine different models: Falcon, Falcon 500, and Fairmont sedans, Falcon, Falcon 500, and Fairmont wagons, Falcon and Falcon 500 utilities, and the Falcon Van. The new wagons shared the 111-inch (2,800 mm) wheelbase with the XR sedans, unlike the 1966 US Falcon wagons which featured a 115-inch (2,900 mm) wheelbase. The Falcon 500 replaced the Falcon Deluxe of the XP series[2] and the two-door hardtop body style available in the XP series was not offered in the XR range in Australia. The marketing focus on the Falcon’s relationship with the Mustang’s sporty appeal led to Ford introducing a Falcon GT variant of the XR in 1967, featuring a 225 bhp version of the 289 cubic inch Windsor V8 engine, sourced from the Ford Mustang. The GT heralded the dawn of the Aussie muscle car. All the original XR GTs were painted in the colour GT Gold, except for eight that were Gallaher Silver and another five that were Russet Bronze, Sultan Maroon, Polar White, Avis White, and Ivy Green.
Muscle Car Warehouse are excited to now offer for sale this 1967 Ford Falcon XR GT. The car that started the muscle car craze in Australia back in 1967. Believed to be one of only 596 examples made by Ford Australia and rarely offered for sale. This example was built in August of 1967 and with some minor repairs and maintenance would make a nice weekend cruiser or if you chose to, restore, and add to your collection. This XR GT appears to have had a full in and out respray in its original GT Gold colour at some stage of its life and is now showing signs of aging. Original Gt badges and hubcaps are still retained on the vehicle. While also displaying signs of wear and tear the interior in this car appears to have never been redone and is all original including the gear shifter with lock out reverse function, original steering wheel, dash, and gauges too. The 289 V8 Windsor engine runs well but has been replaced and is not the original matching number item. The four-speed manual transmission and diff are original also. New South Wales issued “XR GT” number plates included with the car. Also still with the car is the original identification plate. Now available for inspection by appointment at our Kogarah facility.
March 1974 had the first completely new Torana body, with the arrival of the larger mid-sized LH series, produced in four-door sedan style only. Despite the larger external size, the car was relatively cramped by mid-1970s standards. The 5.0-litre engine was reserved for the sporting LH Torana SL/R 5000 sedan. A special build derivative of the SL/R 5000 was the Bathurst-intended ‘L34 Option’, of which only 263 were built, with a higher-compression engine with stouter components for more power and durability in competition use. The most notable external feature of the L34 was the bolt-on wheel arch extensions, designed to accommodate the larger racing rims and tyres. Overall, a total of 70,184 LH Toranas was built. A few special models of the LH were built, the somewhat sporting Plus 4 and G-Pak models. The Plus 4 arrived in September 1974 and was an attempt to move a few more of the slow-selling four-cylinder models. The G-Pak, first seen in February 1975, received the 3.3-litre inline-six. Both came with a four-speed manual, sporting instrumentation, and disc brakes in front.
How cool is this?! A stunning representation of the SL/R L32 Torana. One of the very few that has survived in untouched condition. No flares, no spoilers, no drop tank, and factory ordered in attractive Chrome Yellow this beautiful Torana is an absolute pleasure to see as it is. Having only being repainted in the last three years with only very minimal rust repairs and body work required. All the original badging was replaced and blackouts re done to factory specifications. Even the original hubcaps were retained. Open the doors and you are again treated to totally original “19X” black vinyl interior except for the front two seats which were recovered at the same time the car was repainted. The car is displaying just over 74,000 kilometres and the condition of the car matches that perfectly. Under the bonnet is also the original 253 4.2 litre Holden V8 engine without any major modifications. The gearbox is the original M20 unit and shifts through the gears as it should. This beautiful Torana is a stunning example of an L32 and is perfect for weekend cruising and club events. Now available for inspection by appointment only in our Kogarah facility.
Muscle Car Warehouse are proud to bring to the market this lovely L34 Holden LH Torana. Built in July of 1974 and finished in striking Chrome Yellow. The paintwork has been re done at some stage and still presents nicely with only minor signs of wear and tear. Sitting on the genuine style wheels which have been tastefully widened to give this hero Holden that little extra appeal. A set of genuine V5 three-piece Simmons are available with the car by negotiation. The interior is mostly original and still in good condition for its age with the only addition being two aftermarket gauges. Under the bonnet is a 308 “HZ” engine still featuring its original dizzy, twin coils, headers and with upgrades such as a Holley 650 double pumper carburettor and a solid lifter cam. Behind that is the original gearbox and diff. This L34 is believed to have had only four owners with the current owner since 2016. Includes original L34 supplement and Holden Historical Services paperwork. This beautiful L34 Torana is now available by appointment only or via video call at our Kogarah facility.

Sold between March 1972 and September 1973, the XA series was the first Falcon to be designed (with assistance from Ford’s US headquarters) and manufactured in Australia. It featured an entirely new body which was larger and more roomy than that of its XY series predecessor, giving it the “coke-bottle” look. The XA range also had a longer list of options, although the choice of engines carried over from the previous XY Falcon range. All V8 302 CID and most 351 CID “Cleveland” engines were now Aussie made. Wagons, Utes, and Panel Vans now featured a longer wheelbase than the sedan. Fairmont wagons had a dual-action tailgate that could be opened either downwards or sideways, optional on base model Falcon and Falcon 500 Wagons. The addition of a two-door hardtop to the range marked the first time that this body style had been offered on an Australian Falcon since the XP series of 1965–1966. This option was available in the subsequent XB and XC models, though very scarce. A total of 129,473 XAs were built. While successful, the XA Falcon range proved to be short-lived as it gained a significant frontal appearance update to become the XB series in September 1973.

The GT had a Tickford Vehicle Engineering Ford SVO GT40 5.0 litre V8, producing 200 kilowatts (268 hp) of power due to the special SVO GT40 cylinder heads, a high compression ratio of 9.0:1, large valves, heavy-duty valve springs, roller cam followers, fuel injection with a large throttle body and exhaust extractors. The manual version had a heavy-duty clutch, strengthened gears and a short-throw gearshift as standard. Handling was improved with a larger anti-roll bar, urethane bushes, higher-rate springs and retuned front shock absorbers. The EL GT had a 3.45 ratio differential with a live axle and its top speed was around 230 km/h (140 mph). Unlike what was first anticipated, the 30th anniversary EL Falcon GT was based loosely on the Fairmont Ghia rather than the XR models, with only 250 built for Australia - 135 were (4 Speed) automatic and 115 were (5 speed) manual. 15 extra EL GT Falcons were built for New Zealand and 2 of those went to South Africa.
Muscle Car Warehouse is once again excited to bring to you another special Falcon GT. A beautiful representation of the EL GT model. HOLDEN VL GROUP A COMMODORE PLUS PACK. The VL SS Group A was the second car built for Group A racing purposes and also numbered 500 in total. Released in 1986 it was hot on top of Grice’s Bathurst win and the launch of the Unleaded V8. Due to the controversial Energy Polariser there were actually two versions of the Group A. Holden could see no technical merit in the Polariser and thus refused to fit it to the cars, so Brock refused to put decals with his signature on cars without it. As a result, Brock’s signature only appears on the higher spec “Plus Pack” variant of which only 173 units were made. “Numbered one to five hundred and going fast” is what the original sales brochure read when first released and today whenever advertised they last just as long!! Up for sale here is a beautiful example of HDT‘s second generation Group A Brock Commodore . From its exclusive colour Permanent Red together with the original body kit, unique Plus Pack decals to the factory option MOMO star rims. This unmolested example shows minimum stone chips to the front end thanks to the rare optioned leather car BRA (included in sale) which was available to all GroupA customers, this vehicle also retains all its original glass right through to its head lights & tail lights with true complements of all its factory decals , stamps & markings of quality control still visible throughout the vehicle, even its complete undercarriage including shocks and springs which has been lovingly maintained and is ready to be used and enjoyed!! Look inside and again it is all about originality. Genuine front Scheel seats, MOMO steering wheel, HDT gear knob, glovebox build tag and the list goes on. Odometer reading is just over 69,000 kilometres. Of the 500 cars built this particular car is build number 096 sold by Hardes Auto House Taree NSW. This car also retains its original logbook, owners manual, Polariser (which has never been fitted to this particular car) with additional memorabilia and genuine MOMO spare in the boot, this SS GroupA presents in stunning condition throughout. As with the first generation Cobra’s, just 400 individually numbered examples of the new FPV GT Cobra sedan were made available, snapped up by enthusiasts, many of whom already owned one of the original XC Cobras. Here today Muscle Car Warehouse would like to offer for sale this beautiful example of a sort after modern day collectable, the BF Falcon GT Cobra!! Having only travelled a mere 33,000 kilometres it presents in beautiful condition inside and out. From the “in your face nostalgic” white / blue Cobra paint scheme to the gorgeous interior this car is one to be tucked away or alternatively to be enjoyed on the weekends. Adding to the collectability is the 6speed manual transmission and the super low build number being 005/400 with all the modern day creature comforts, retaining the ford compendium and original logbooks this future classic is for the true enthusiast or investor. Do not hesitate to contact us to arrange a video inspection with one of our team members today!
When released the all new Holden Commodore VT Series 1 (1997 – 1999), budget time and emission restrictions would mean that we would see development cease on the locally built Holden V8 and it would be the last time in history that we would see a local built Holden / HSV powered vehicle. When released in 1997 the HSV VT GTS Series 1 was ahead of it’s time and offered unrivalled performance across Australia and 99% of performance sedans of the world, Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson stated the VT GTS Series 1 as almost being a twin to the Austin Martin Vantage and a reminder of the Lotus Carlton. But Most importantly, it is the LAST of the true Aussie Built HSV muscle cars. Sure, the Series 2 and later model LS engines produce more power; but you just can’t deny that the Holden motor is one of the sweetest things you will ever hear and not many can beat the sound of that Lion-Hearted, Aussie Built Holden Stroker. Does it get any better?! This would have to be top of the ladder as far as the VT HSV range goes. From its vibrant Sting Red paintwork to the optional Pewter coloured leather interior this VT GTS ticks all the boxes. Adding to the desirability is the ever so popular electric sunroof. Power is supplied by the 5.7 later stroker engine (producing 220KW) available in the GTS model and backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. The build number on this GTS is #294 of 399 units released. Of them, 263 were fitted with the M34 code manual transmission. The only modifications to this GTS is an upgraded “SS Inductions” branded airbox (original one included, see pictures) and an immobiliser. Sounds as good as it looks!! It also still retains its original logbooks and owners manual. So if you want a little bit old school Aussie V8 power mixed with new school HSV comfort and collectability contact Muscle Car Warehouse today to arrange a video inspection.

In 1973, the XB Falcon (sold with the slogan “The Great Australian Road Car”) was introduced with more aggressive styling, a multifunction control stalk (indicators, high beam, horn), new colours including colour-coded bumpers on the GT variants, and minor trim variations. Engine options carried over from the XA-series. The GT variant of the XB also included four-wheel disc brakes. The twin driving lights remained, as did the bonnet locks. The bonnet scoops of the GT were now integrated into the “power bulge” on the bonnet, the bumpers were now body-coloured, and the power bulge, wheel arches, sills, and valances were painted in a contrasting colour to the body colour dependent upon the actual body colour.
It still wears its original 12 slots wheels with centre caps as well as other original items such as the radio cassette and long-range fuel tank. Currently running a healthy 351 4V Cleveland (JG66- XAGT Coupe engine) which sounds awesome through the side exiting exhaust and backed by a 4 speed Top Loader and 9” diff. Overall this is a solid and great survivor car which is ready to race or simply be a weekend cruiser. Now available for inspection at our Kogarah facility.
