Mention the name “Shelby” just about anywhere in the world to just about any car guy and they will know what you’re referring to. Carroll Shelby an American automotive designer, racing driver and entrepreneur. Shelby was involved with the AC Cobra and the Mustang for the Ford Motor Company. Shelby's early racing successes led to a joint effort of Ford and Shelby-American to produce the Mustang-based Shelby GT350, starting in 1965, then the Shelby GT500, starting in 1967. Shelby produced those cars through 1968, then subsequent cars with the Shelby GT brand were produced in-house by Ford. This Shelby, that started its life as a GT350 has at some stage of its life been cloned into a GT500 and not just externally. Beneath the hood is a monstrous 427 “Side Oiler” cubic inch big block (cross bolt block) with twin carbs sitting on top. Behind that is a C6 auto transmission with a high stall convertor and lastly nothing other than a 9” diff with 4.11 gear ratios. The Shelby is believed to have been in Australia since the 90s and given a partial restoration while still retaining the factory interior. Still sporting its original and desirable colour of Nightmist Blue and riding on Shelby Magstar rims. Do not miss out on this opportunity to secure a world-renowned muscle car. After 25 years of absence of a full-size Holden coupe, the Monaro made a return in 2001 following the overwhelming response of the public and media to the VT-based Holden Coupé concept displayed at the 1998 Australian International Motor Show held in Sydney. Holden launched the V2-series Monaro based on the VX-series Commodore. It was available as the CV6, with a supercharged 3.8 L V6 and 4-speed automatic transmission (production ceased in mid-2004), and as the CV8, featuring the 5.7 L LS1 V8, with a choice of either a 6-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.[13] A Series 2 model debuted in early 2003 with a revised dashboard from the VY-series, a new alloy road wheel design and new paint and trim colour choices. The Monaro we have for sale here is simply stunning! Finished in beautiful Phantom metallic which is in immaculate condition. To complement its looks even further a genuine fluted bonnet and genuine Shadow Grey HSV rims have been added. Inside we have factory red interior and again it too is in spectacular condition. Exactly what you would expect on a car that has only travelled just over 35,000 kilometres! Matching its looks is the power of a 5.7 LS1 Chev engine and a 6speed manual gearbox. Believed to be one of approximately 34 made in this specification. Other upgrades include HSV brakes and a rare HSV throttle body. Still with the Monaro are its original logbook and dealer folder showing full-service history as well as spare keys too. If you are in the market for a late modern Holden muscle car then this is the one for you. Please contact one of our friendly staff to make an appointment to view this car at our Kogarah showroom.

When HSV said they saved the best till last, they were right. The Holden VN Group A was something else when released in 1990. Being the lowest production bult HSV and even compared to by some to the Ford Falcon XY GTHO. Here is your opportunity to own what could easily be described as the best example of a VN Group A. in existence. Owned personally up until 2018 by the D’Álberto family, owners of the reputable D’Alberto Holden dealership in Echuca, Victoria. Initially HSV planned to produce 500 examples, but it is commonly known that only 302 examples were produced. This particular car wears build number 333 as this was the build number of the other three Group A Commodores in the D’Abreo collection so therefore HSV honoured this and still allocated this build number to this car. With just over 1800km this car could almost be described as a brand-new car and is totally untouched from front to back. This Group A was never registered and still remains unregistered and comes with its two sets of keys original blank logbook meaning you could be the first private owner of this very special HSV. This Group A needs to be seen to be believed and is definitely one for the serious Holden or HSV collector. In 1993, the significantly redesigned VR Senator was released. The rear seating was from the Holden Statesman. Along with the rest of the HSV range, the Senator body kit was penned by designer Ian Callum to produce a sleeker, more aggressive stance along with a 185 kW (248 hp) version of the 5.0-litre V8. A new suspension setup was developed, known as the touring package which aimed to provide capable handling and a smooth ride. Additionally, from May 1994 onwards, the Senator could be optioned with HSV's new 215 kW (288 hp) 5.7-litre "stroker" V8 known as the "215i". The $10,000 "stroker" engine option was hand built as an upgrade over the standard V8. Up for sale here is a beautiful 1994 model Holden VR Senator HSV. The Sherbrooke Green paintwork presents very well along with Slate Grey leather trim. Under the bonnet is the highly sort after 215kw 5.7 litre “stroker” engine backed by the four-speed automatic transmission. The odometer is showing 137872 kilometres. Original logbook and folder are still with the car. Build number is 595 of just 855 cars produced in this model by Holden Special Vehicles. Of them not many were produced with the costly 215kw engine making this car super desirable to any HSV collector. Comes with original books.
