The A9X is a beautiful example that has never been totally restored but instead lovingly cared for and maintained by all its owners over its 48-year existence. Both the outside and the inside are in superb condition without any modifications. For the purists, the car still runs its original matching number engine. A new exhaust has been fitted to the car recently and is as close to factory spec as possible. The car has been maintained and improved by its current owner. Interior is untouched and all original including seats, door trims and carpet. The car still sits on its original “256” rims including the spare. Muscle Car Warehouse is now offering this 1970 Ford Falcon XW GTHO Phase II. This exact car was purchased by George Altomonte, the owner of Alto Ford in Sydney’s north for employee Bob Holden to race in the 1970 endurance events at Sandown and Bathurst. Bob Holden retired from the Sandown 3 hour with a mechanical issue after 52 laps. Bob Holden finished 14th at Bathurst after constant brake issues during the race. Driving solo, he finished 7 laps behind winner Allan Moffat. Like many cars of the era, it was sold and used on the road. It found its way to back to Australia from New Zealand in 2017. It has been restored to its Bathurst 1970 livery including roll cage and racing harness. Entered in both the 2017 and 2023 Falcon GT Nationals events. The GTHO has undergone a restoration at some time and as the pictures show, still presents beautifully. The opportunity to purchase a car with such provenance rarely arises. Bronze Beauty! Now available for sale at Muscle Car Warehouse is this amazing 1969 Holden HT Monaro GTS. Another beautiful example of its model and still registered to the daughter of the original owner. This car has had zero modifications and is as it left the showroom floor way back in 1969. The car was treated to a respray approximately 15 years ago in its original Daytona Bronze at which time the GTS stripes were added as the car was not ordered with them from new. The HT was assembled in the Dandenong plant in Victoria and delivered to Wattie Corrie Motors PTY LTD. The Sandalwood trim could not compliment the Daytona Bronze exterior any better and again is without any modifications. Still housing the matching number 186S engine and four speed manual transmission. The car has never been unregistered and still wears the number plates from 1969. Only becoming harder to get. Enjoy as is or upgrade to a V8 either way this Monaro is one not to be missed out on. Please contact one of our friendly staff to make an appointment to view this car.

A custom PWR Performance radiator with matching twin thermos keeps the temps down and the spark is taken care of by an MSD Grid unit. The appearance is essentially all factory GT finished in Raw Orange but of course with necessary upgrades such as a fibreglass reverse cowl hood and Weld AlumaStar wheels. This stunning Ford Falcon XA GT sedan is a true representation of a survivor. Rarely do cars of this caliber become available so here is your chance to grab one! Everywhere you look on this car it is evident the car has lived a pampered life without any signs of neglect or modifications. The Polar White paint still presents exceptionally well and has only been touched up in some areas. Complimenting it is a factory fitted black vinyl roof with the addition of a blacked-out bonnet, more than likely done at the dealership. A factory fitted front spoiler, vent windows and genuine Ford mudflaps give off the “gentleman’s GT” look. The list of factory options doesn’t end there either. Power steering, air conditioning, styled left hand side rear vision mirror, Super Fringe Deluxe push button radio and lastly tinted side and rear glass, making this Falcon GT the only one built with these exact specifications. The interior is in fantastic condition and again without modifications, just the way they should be. The GT still runs its original matching number 351 engine which has only travelled under 90,000 miles which sits nicely in a beautifully unrestored engine bay. Look underneath and you will see that the undercarriage is just as clean as the rest of the car, even the original shocks are there! The original logbooks with owner’s manual and original Ford build sheet, comes with the car. Please contact one of our friendly staff to make an appointment to view this car.
This 1985 Holden VK Calais is a fantastic and affordable entry level car into the muscle car scene. Additional to this is the added rarity of it being an original “334 Pack” which means that it is was not only fitted with a Holden V8 5 litre engine, but it was also factory ordered with a four-speed manual transmission. Something not often seen as a Calais was predominately a luxury style car. The renown tu-tone paint scheme, in this case Alpine White over silver with its original “Light Oyster” interior. Riding on retro 20-inch MOMO rims but also comes with 15-inch HDT Aero rims. The only other changes to the car are the fitment of an aftermarket stereo and tinted windows. A front spoiler and boot release have also been added along with Bathurst Globe wheels. Please contact one of our friendly staff to make an appointment to view this car at our Kogarah showroom.

In the somewhat wet 1972 Hardie-Ferodo 500, the lightweight HDT Torana GTR XU-1 claimed victory against the heavyweight GT-HO, driven solo for 500 miles (800 km) by Peter Brock. This would be the start of the ‘Peter Perfect’/Torana legend, and the first of five Bathurst wins for the Torana in its colourful 10-year racing career at Bathurst. This beautifully restored example is a great representation of the LJ GTR XU-1 model. The factory colour, Patina Gold is unique and displays elegance to this little pocket rocket. Sitting on period correct Sprint Master mags. Sporting the original black vinyl interior which is still in fantastic condition. The Holden HQ series is a range of automobiles that was produced by Holden in Australia from 1971 to 1974. The HQ was released on 15 July 1971, replacing the Holden HG series. It was the first ground up redesign of the Holden line since its original release in 1948, and included an all-new body, chassis, and suspension. The HQ was later developed into a series of successor models, finally ending production when the WB series was discontinued in 1984. A Holden SS sedan was released in August 1972. Although marketed as a separate model it was a Belmont V8 sedan fitted with the XV2 option package. Production of the HQ range totaled 485,650 vehicles.
This HQ is one of the very first HQs to roll of the assembly line in July 1971. The factory colour is Blackshaw Green matched perfectly to the Olive Green trim with distinctive Raydo cloth inserts. All original inside and out just like it left the factory. The white walls, hubcaps and mudflaps certainly make this beautiful Premier look the part. Don’t let the stock appearance fool you though. 1961 Chevrolet Corvette C1 Sting Ray Roadster 2dr Man 4sp 283ci/270HP - Matching "CE" Numbers - ONLY 1 Collector Owner in the US-1 ONLY here in Australia - Unrestored We are very pleased to offer to you this great opportunity in securing this stunning and iconic 1961 Chevrolet Corvette C1 Stingray Convertible full matching numbers unrestored exterior and a 1 owner from new in the US with her second owner personally sourcing and imported this time machine C1 directly of the first owner to Victoria and has been on club rego since landing here. This iconic C1 Corvette has been lovingly owned from new with est 81,000mls travelled believed to be accurate with her original engine CE. Her original 283ci/270HP with her 4BBL Single carb are all in great working order and she is mated to her Hurst 4 Speed manual gearbox married to her LSD. The last year of the C1 was a one of year as the General Motors executives decided to review some of Mitchell's designs and made the decision to "green light" a restyling of Corvette for the 1961 model year. Bill Mitchell (Corvette Designer) had begun the process of developing a prototype for an all new Corvette that would go on to become known as the "Mako Shark I." He had also championed a team of Chevrolet designers in developing both cosmetic and performance upgrades to the existing C1 body styling. The most pronounced of Mitchell's changes was the introduction of a freshened rear end design. The "ducktail" design (as it has become known amongst Corvette enthusiasts) was virtually lifted from the Stingray race car as well as Mitchell's XP-700 show car but bonus from a practicality standpoint, the redesign of the rear end of the Corvette C1/2 enabled an increase in available luggage space by twenty percent (20%). The new rear end also showcased a pair of small, round taillights on each side of the license plate recess. (These re-designed tail lights would become synonymous with Corvette and would be a standard feature (in one form or another) on all future generations of Corvette). This never to be repeated again opportunity is upon you now and if your in the market for a superb period correct highly preserved '61 C1 as she was sold new and still in LHD configuration to ensure future values especially being sold back to the US as prices have been strong for the "right" C1 and C2 Corvette's. A head turning iconic Stingray finished in her original paintwork of Black Tuxedo with Santeen Silver Coves over her stunning retrimmed but original color of Stingray Red cockpit. With recent mechanical and service completed including upgrades for useability a new larger radiator coolant hoses and full flush, oil pan, valve cover, new exhaust system complete and alternator conversion. She is an absolute pleasure to drive and creates smiles where ever you go and causes conversations every time you park. With all period correct gauges and interior cabin finishes as she left the factory back in Sept 1961 it really is a sense of an occasion every time you get behind the wheel and the assurance of her strong pedigree assures your investment. This is a great addition to any US Muscle car collection or enthusiast looking for a fantastic iconic period correct summer cruiser at massive value considering the cost of importing/current exchnage rates or restoring such a prime example, for the value she represents why would you bother she is ready to go now.

It was originally delivered to Duhig Ford in Essendon, Victoria and was built in August of 1970. The only variations from original are a pair of extractors, paired with a stainless-steel exhaust system and a Phase III style brake vacuum tank. The original exhaust manifolds are included with the sale. The car was entered in the 2009 Falcon GT Nationals where it took out second place in its class. The XR series was introduced in September 1966. The XR series was initially offered in nine different models: Falcon, Falcon 500, and Fairmont sedans, Falcon, Falcon 500, and Fairmont wagons, Falcon and Falcon 500 utilities, and the Falcon Van. The new wagons shared the 111-inch (2,800 mm) wheelbase with the XR sedans, unlike the 1966 US Falcon wagons which featured a 115-inch (2,900 mm) wheelbase. The Falcon 500 replaced the Falcon Deluxe of the XP series[2] and the two-door hardtop body style available in the XP series was not offered in the XR range in Australia. The marketing focus on the Falcon’s relationship with the Mustang’s sporty appeal led to Ford introducing a Falcon GT variant of the XR in 1967, featuring a 225 bhp version of the 289 cubic inch Windsor V8 engine, sourced from the Ford Mustang. The GT heralded the dawn of the Aussie muscle car. All the original XR GTs were painted in the colour GT Gold, except for eight that were Gallaher Silver and another five that were Russet Bronze, Sultan Maroon, Polar White, Avis White, and Ivy Green.

March 1974 had the first completely new Torana body, with the arrival of the larger mid-sized LH series, produced in four-door sedan style only. Despite the larger external size, the car was relatively cramped by mid-1970s standards. The 5.0-litre engine was reserved for the sporting LH Torana SL/R 5000 sedan. A special build derivative of the SL/R 5000 was the Bathurst-intended ‘L34 Option’, of which only 263 were built, with a higher-compression engine with stouter components for more power and durability in competition use. The most notable external feature of the L34 was the bolt-on wheel arch extensions, designed to accommodate the larger racing rims and tyres. Overall, a total of 70,184 LH Toranas was built. A few special models of the LH were built, the somewhat sporting Plus 4 and G-Pak models. The Plus 4 arrived in September 1974 and was an attempt to move a few more of the slow-selling four-cylinder models. The G-Pak, first seen in February 1975, received the 3.3-litre inline-six. Both came with a four-speed manual, sporting instrumentation, and disc brakes in front.
How cool is this?! A stunning representation of the SL/R L32 Torana. One of the very few that has survived in untouched condition. No flares, no spoilers, no drop tank, and factory ordered in attractive Chrome Yellow this beautiful Torana is an absolute pleasure to see as it is. Having only being repainted in the last three years with only very minimal rust repairs and body work required. All the original badging was replaced and blackouts re done to factory specifications. Even the original hubcaps were retained. Open the doors and you are again treated to totally original “19X” black vinyl interior except for the front two seats which were recovered at the same time the car was repainted. The car is displaying just over 74,000 kilometres and the condition of the car matches that perfectly. Under the bonnet is also the original 253 4.2 litre Holden V8 engine without any major modifications. The gearbox is the original M20 unit and shifts through the gears as it should. This beautiful Torana is a stunning example of an L32 and is perfect for weekend cruising and club events. Now available for inspection by appointment only in our Kogarah facility.

Sold between March 1972 and September 1973, the XA series was the first Falcon to be designed (with assistance from Ford’s US headquarters) and manufactured in Australia. It featured an entirely new body which was larger and more roomy than that of its XY series predecessor, giving it the “coke-bottle” look. The XA range also had a longer list of options, although the choice of engines carried over from the previous XY Falcon range. All V8 302 CID and most 351 CID “Cleveland” engines were now Aussie made. Wagons, Utes, and Panel Vans now featured a longer wheelbase than the sedan. Fairmont wagons had a dual-action tailgate that could be opened either downwards or sideways, optional on base model Falcon and Falcon 500 Wagons. The addition of a two-door hardtop to the range marked the first time that this body style had been offered on an Australian Falcon since the XP series of 1965–1966. This option was available in the subsequent XB and XC models, though very scarce. A total of 129,473 XAs were built. While successful, the XA Falcon range proved to be short-lived as it gained a significant frontal appearance update to become the XB series in September 1973.

Named after the Monaro region in New South Wales (although pronounced differently), Holden's new coupé was introduced in July 1968 in a two-door pillarless hardtop design available in three models: base, GTS and GTS 327. The base Monaro had a standard 161 cubic inch six cylinder engine or the extra cost options of two versions of 186 cubic inch six cylinder engines. The Monaro GTS came standard with the more powerful 186'S' engine and both base model and GTS could be optioned with a 307 cubic inch Chevrolet sourced V8 engine. The exclusive Monaro 'GTS 327' model was powered by a 327 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 engine rated at 250 horsepower, available only with a 4-speed manual transmission. The HK Monaro GTS327 gave Holden its first victory in the 1968 Hardie-Ferodo 500 at the hands of Bruce McPhee and co-driver Barry Mulholland. Whilst Mulholland only drove one of the total 130 race laps, McPhee drove the remainder and also scored both pole position and fastest lap of the race.
Up for sale here is this genuine Holden HK Monaro GTS. Lovingly owned by the current owner since 1990 and restored in 2001. Restored with the intention of being used and enjoyed. The Ermine White paintwork still presents well with only very minor signs of wear and tear. Still sporting GTS wheel arch moulds, striping, and badging. The trim in this car is also still in beautiful condition and all done to original specs with the only modification being an aftermarket CD player that has been installed in the glovebox so that the original theme is kept within the interior. The car sits tastefully on American Racing wheels, again still in great condition. Under the bonnet is of course a healthy V8 Chev engine which runs perfectly. Backing that is a Saginaw four speed manual transmission and then finally a 10 bolt Salisbury diff. Since being restored this Monaro has been entered in many shows such as Summernats and the 2004 Monaro Nationals at Bathurst where it took out Top HK modified. It has always been garaged and only travelled 20,000 miles since the restoration was completed. For any further information do not hesitate to contact Muscle Car Warehouse.
As the first model to be produced (March 1985 – February 1986) represented Holden’s increasing efforts in Group A racing. Available only in blue associated with the corporate colours of the Holden Dealer Team’s principle sponsor Mobil, which gave rise to the cars nickname, the “Blue Meanie”. Production began in early 1985, but part supply problems saw the HDT fail to build the required number of 500 and it missed the 1 August deadline for it to be eligible for racing that year. Production still continued and the VK SS Group A was available for motor racing from 1 January 1986. 502 cars were available only through Holden Dealer Team-affiliated Holden dealerships. Visually the VK Group A SS had the addition of a rear spoiler, larger front air dam and a more aggressive front grill over the standard VK Commodore. Other changes included a double row timing chain (eliminating the car’s inherent weakness of 1985, a single row chain), as well as stronger conrods and suspension mountings. Power for the road going Group A SS with its 4.9- litre engine was rated at 196 kW (263 hp) at 5200 rpm, with a top speed of 215 km/h (134 mph). Transmission options were four-speed M21 manual, or optional five-speed Getrag T5. (The T5G transmission WAS NOT an option with the VK Group A – some cars did get it fitted at Bertie Street by SPECIAL arrangement with HDT) It was dealer fitted! The car was assembled at Dandenong, Victoria by Holden and modified at Bertie Street Port Melbourne by HDT.
Muscle Car Warehouse is very proud to present what is undoubtedly one of the most renown models of the Brock range, the VK Group A, or more commonly known as “THE BLUE MEANIE”. As of late one of the most replicated Aussie muscle cars! This example is build number 248 and is in beautiful condition. The paintwork on the vehicle is mostly original as per factory with the exception of the front bumper bar, bonnet and lower sill panels. These areas have been repainted due to general wear and tear (stone chips). The condition of the paintwork presents extremely well for a car of its age. The trim of the vehicle presents well above average and again consistent with all other areas of the car. It presents all original and with only very minimal wear and tear to items such as steering wheel, gear knob and drivers seat. The only modification being an aftermarket Alpine branded stereo although original Eurovox stereo is included with the sale of the vehicle and is an easily reversed modification. This Brock still has all its (5) original 16×7 Aero rims with centre caps included. Four of the five wheels have recently been refurbished along with (5) new Bridgestone Potenza tyres. It has been verified that the original matching number engine is still in the vehicle with the only modifications being a genuine Holden over the counter 355 cubic inch crankshaft, comparable Brock specification roller camshaft, aftermarket inlet manifold, carburettor, extractors, aluminium rocker covers and the addition of a genuine HDT cold air induction. Please note, all genuine parts that have been removed from the engine are also included with the sale of the vehicle and again can be reversed to maintain originality. The transmission in the vehicle has been upgraded from the original “M21” four speed unit to a more desirable genuine HDT “T5G” five speed transmission. All associated items e.g. bellhousing are also genuine HDT items. The vehicle was originally retailed through United Motors, Adelaide on the 2nd of August, 1985 and has only had three owners since. This car still retains its original logbook, owners manual, radio manual as well as an extensive amount of other associated paperwork including the original purchase receipt. Two sets of original keys including master key and two alarm pads are also included. Originally issued South Australian number plates (UTG-888) are also included. The odometer reads just over 167,000 kilometres. Now available for inspection by video call at our Kogarah facility.
The EH was released in August 1963 replacing the Holden EJ series and was the first Holden to incorporate the new "Red" engine, with a 7 main bearing crankshaft instead of the 4 main bearing crankshaft used in the "Grey" engine. A larger capacity 149 ci engine was first only sold attached to a three-speed manual gear box or the "Hydramatic" 4 stage automatic transmission with a (column shift). The Controlled Coupling Hydramatic used in the EH was actually a four stage although it effectively worked as a three speed unit except at full throttle. The 179 ci engine was initially only sold with the "Hydramatic". The first EH with a 179 ci engine and a manual gear box was called the "EH-S4", fitted with an up-graded manual gear box, with stronger gears than the 149ci gear box and an up-graded clutch. The threespeed manual (column shift) gear boxes had no synchromesh on first gear and only synchromesh on the second and third 'top gear’. A total of 256,959 EH Holdens were produced and sold from 1963 to 1965, when the EH was replaced by the Holden HD series.
Here we offer this absolutely stunning example of a 1964 EH Holden Premier. It is believed to have three careful owners, the first one right up until 1998. Since then the car had an external respray in its original Silver Mink colour along with the Fowlers Ivory roof complete with all factory body mouldings and badges. This car is as it left the factory in every other way accept for the addition of a radio although the original radio blank is included. Matching perfectly with the silver and white exterior is the beautiful all original red interior. The original 179 cubic inch motor runs beautifully and the original Hydramatic automatic gearbox shifts just like it should. Of a car of this age it runs like a dream. Also rare to find in a car of this vintage, is the original logbook, logbook folder, owners manual and Nasco accessories brochure. The car was originally sold by Rhodes Motor Co. in Melbourne. Original jack, tool kit and period style spare tyre still remain with the car. Whether you're a collector or someone who wants an immaculate cruiser this is a car that certainly needs considering. Ford launched an all-new Falcon model in March 1979 and the XD/XE/XF range went on to prove hugely successfully throughout the 1980s, ultimately eclipsing Holden’s Commodore as Australia’s most popular family car. Mechanically simple, the new Falcon was slightly smaller than the outgoing XC model while the running gear was carried over with few changes. The XD was sold in both sedan and station wagon versions, plus the usual commercials, while the model line-up consisted of the base Falcon GL, mid-range Fairmont and upmarket Fairmont Ghia, later joined by the stretched luxury Fairlane and LTD models. In July 1980 Ford introduced a new alloy cylinder head across all six-cylinder models, improving both power and fuel economy, along with electronic ignition and revised cooling. To inject a little sparkle into the range, Ford also announced a highperformance model dubbed the ESP (which stood for European Sports Pack), to evoke the spirit of the earlier GTs. Offering a unique colour palette, colour-coded grille, Marshal fog lamps, front spoiler and 15-inch Globe alloy rims shod with low profile tyres, the improvements were more than just skin deep. Bilstein gas shock absorbers, heavy-duty anti-roll bars and stiffer springs improved the Falcon’s handling, and the ESP came with four-wheel disc brakes, a limited-slip diff and quick ratio steering as standard. Under the bonnet, the ESP was equipped with Ford’s 4.1-litre six and a four-speed manual gearbox as standard, although the 5.8-litre V8 remained optional. Interior changes included Scheel front seats with cloth trim and full instrumentation, making the package the most sought-after and collectible of the XD Falcon models.
Here for sale is a lovely example of an XD ESP Fairmont Ghia. Built in November of 1981 and finished in Silver Grey and starting life as a humble six cylinder car, it has been tastefully upgraded to a more desirable 351 Cleveland approximately five years ago. Before being fitted the 351 engine was treated to a rebuild and recently treated to a reconditioned carburettor, coil, leads and spark plugs also. A new PWR branded radiator with electric fans keeps it all cool to ensure many hours of enjoyable cruising. Backing up the 351 engine is a reconditioned C4 automatic built by Transmit and was installed only nine months ago. The diff is the original one with 3.23 gear ratios. The braking system and suspension have also been recently overhauled with a new brake booster, master cylinder, rebuilt front and rear calipers, new discs front and rear, new shocks (Bilsteins in the rear), new springs and all new bushes. The undercarriage was cleaned and sprayed with Gravelex rubberised coating to protect it all from rust. The ESP has had a closed door respray and the engine has also been painted. NOS pinstripes, door hinge pins and headlights have been restored also using NOS adjusting pins. Inside still retains all its exclusive ESP features from the Mid Grey Scheel seats, red clock and matching red illumination on the dashboard instruments. Also features NOS carpet, new front seat belts, its correct webbing and new seatbelt buckle buttons. The car is also still sitting on its original Bathurst Globe rims including the matching spare and also the original jack. The VC Valiant was longer and lower than any previous Australian Valiant model, but was essentially a facelift of the superseded AP6 model. It featured a new grille, front bumper, bonnet and front mudguards. Sedans had new rear styling with vertical tail lights. Wagons and utilities carried over the rear lights and panels from their AP6 predecessors, with wagons receiving the new rear bumper and utilities carrying over the previous models bumperettes. The VC range displayed a greater degree of differentiation between models with the Valiant, Regal and V8 each having unique exterior decoration and trim. Regal and V8 models had a chrome strip situated near the lower edge of the doors and V8 models featured a vinyl roof, bucket seats and a floor mounted gear selector with full length centre console, as well as V8 badges on the rear roof pillar, bootlid, bonnet emblem and hubcaps. The V8 sedans also featured three horizontal chrome bars on the rear quarter panel. Front disc brakes were introduced as an option in November 1966. In early 1963, General Motors' management banned divisions from involvement in auto racing. This followed the 1957 voluntary ban on automobile racing that was instituted by the Automobile Manufacturers Association. By the early 1960s, Pontiac's advertising and marketing approach was heavily based on performance. With GM's ban on factory-sponsored racing, Pontiac's managers began to emphasize street performance. The GTO underwent a few styling changes in 1967. The louver-covered taillights were replaced with eight taillights, four on each side. Rally II wheels with coloured lug nuts were also available in 1967. The GTO emblems located on the rear part of the fenders were moved to the chrome rocker panels. The grille was changed from a purely split grille to one that shared some chrome. The 1967 GTO was available in three body styles.

There was just 1585 XY Fairmont Gts built for the South African market during 71-72, which followed on from a handful of the previous generation of XW Fairmont GTs. This was Ford Australia’s export version of the Falcon GT, which had a number of unique features distinguishing it from its Australian counterpart. As opposed to the “Super Roo”, the South African GT is known as the “Super Rhino” There are two reasons the Gt’s were badged Fairmont GT in South Africa; 1. South Africa never had a Falcon at the time, only Fairmont XR and XT. Therefore to keep the model name continuing, when the XW and XY GT’s were sold there, they re-badged them to be a Fairmont GT. 2. South Africa had imported a Canadian Falcon in the late 60’s. They had a bad reputation on reliability and build therefore Ford South Africa made the decision to re-badge them to a Fairmont GT For more information and history on the “Super Rhino” visit website https://www.safairmontgt.com.au/history/
