This exact car was purchased by George Altomonte, the owner of Alto Ford in Sydney’s north for employee Bob Holden to race in the 1970 endurance events at Sandown and Bathurst. Bob Holden retired from the Sandown 3 hour with a mechanical issue after 52 laps. Bob Holden finished 14th at Bathurst after constant brake issues during the race. Driving solo, he finished 7 laps behind winner Allan Moffat. Like many cars of the era, it was sold and used on the road. It found its way to back to Australia from New Zealand in 2017. It has been restored to its Bathurst 1970 livery including roll cage and racing harness. Entered in both the 2017 and 2023 Falcon GT Nationals events. Other components such as a Callies crankshaft, Diamond cut pistons and Oliver conrods help to get this stunning XY down the quarter mile. Backing the engine up is a full manual Ford C4 automatic with a B&M shifter and an 8-inch 6500 convertor. Naturally the diff is none other than a Ford 9 inch with 3.7 gears, Mark Williams axles and Calvert shocks. A custom PWR Performance radiator with matching twin thermos keeps the temps down and the spark is taken care of by an MSD Grid unit. The appearance is essentially all factory GT finished in Raw Orange but of course with necessary upgrades such as a fibreglass reverse cowl hood and Weld AlumaStar wheels. The AC Cobra, sold in the United States as the Shelby Cobra and AC Shelby Cobra, is a sports car manufactured by British company AC Cars, with a Ford V8 engine. It was produced intermittently in both the UK and later the USA since 1962. With some help from Ford Motor Company and a small team of mechanics, the first Shelby Cobra was introduced in 1962. It was powered by Ford’s 260 engine, and later with the 289 and 427 V8, and it pretty soon took the sports car world by a storm. The combination of lightweight body, small dimensions and brute US power proved to be revolutionary and the car did extremely well in competition all around the world.
This modern day version of the AC Cobra was manufactured by the “Kit Car Centre” in Boksburg, South Africa. The Kit Car Centre built these Cobra’s from 1982 through to 2003 before being bought out by Backdraft Racing. They are longer and wider for added comfort also. It is believed all of them were fitted with Chev engines just like the one we have here which is fitted with a 454 big block Chev engine!! Atop of this big block monster is Hilborn style electronic fuel injection with MSD ignition and aluminium heads producing in excess of 300kw at the rear wheels!! The transmission is a Turbo 400 and the diff is a Ford 9” running Porsche brakes and four link suspension. This beast is not for the faint hearted!! On the outside the Cobra is nothing but eye popping!! It was originally ordered with a 351 T code engine (identical to the Falcon GT), FMX automatic transmission and a 9” diff. Further to this this car was also factory fitted with power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, tramp rods and a dual exhaust system. This car is basically a Falcon GT in a Falcon 500 body! Finished in the subtle colour of Skyview Blue and saddle trim and believed to be one of only six cars ordered in the colour with the T code engine. Other notable features are a GT bonnet and driving lights. Currently running 12 slot wheels and GS caps but with the original steel rims and dog dish hubcaps included. This XBGT was entered and issued with a Cannonball Run number plate, 240. The race covered 3,755 kilometres stretching from Darwin, down the Stuart Highway all the way to Alice Springs. The 1994 Cannonball Run was a legal event run in the Northern Territory, Australia from 22 May to 27 May 1994. Being built in May of 1976 makes this car special also as it is one of only 13 cars finished in Outback Bronze with Walnut Glow accents. The saddle trim also presents nicely. The Ford Falcon EB GT was released by Ford in 1992 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Falcon GT. Only 265 were produced, 250 of which were delivered in Australia and 15 to New Zealand. This EB GT is one of 36 made in Cobalt Blue with a five-speed manual transmission and is build number 209. This EB GT has only travelled just over 1,500 kilometres. This car was originally delivered through Centralian Motors in the Northern Territory where it stayed until approximately 2020. This car is an absolute time warp and still retains all its original stickers on the panels, markings and comes with its original Pirelli tyres too. Muscle Car Warehouse bring to the market this Ford Falcon XY Ute. The Ute was restored approximately four years ago in its original colour of Yellow Ochre. When restored all the GS extras were fitted such as side stripes and wheel caps. Other features include a GT front spoiler, Shaker, bonnet stripes, bonnet locks and driving lights. The interior also received the GT trim when restored while remaining with the original saddle colour. Seats, door trims, steering wheel and dash were all upgraded to GT specs. An aftermarket stereo has been installed in the glovebox so that the original look is kept. The Ute was originally ordered with a 302 Windsor and a four speed Top Loader transmission. Now running a 351 Windsor with a mild cam, Edelbrock intake and extractors. The Top Loader gearbox remains, and the diff is a 9” with a 3.5 ratio. It is with great pleasure that we now offer for sale this absolutely striking 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. The current owner, a Mustang enthusiast has owned this car for the last 14 years and prior to that it was with the same family for over 30 years in Arizona. Having spent so much time in this dry climate meant that the structural condition of this Mustang is unbelievable. Still with all of its original floor pans, torque boxes, sills and still in the original red oxide primer as per factory. The sparkling Burnt Umber paintwork and complimented with the addition of the Magnum 500 rims with new tyres and side stripes with GTA badging. No stone was left unturned on the interior with everything replaced and upgraded to Deluxe style trim including seat covers, center console together with the factory option GT steering wheel. The floors were treated to Dynamat and the car also has air conditioning and power steering for added driving pleasure. The beautifully detailed engine bay houses the Ford 289 Windsor V8 engine. The top end of the engine was recently freshened up less than 200 miles ago and an Edelbrock Performer inlet manifold and a Holley Brawler 600cfm carbie was added. The Ford XW Falcon GTHO Phase II is arguably the toughest of all the GTHO models Ford made. With all of the 267 examples produced having “solid” 351 4V Cleveland engines, 31 spline Top Loader gearboxes and differentials. Falcon GT enthusiasts would argue that the Phase II is their favourite. This example, restored approximately 15 years ago in its original colour of Diamond White with saddle interior. It was originally delivered to Duhig Ford in Essendon, Victoria and was built in August of 1970. The only variations from original are a pair of extractors, paired with a stainless-steel exhaust system and a Phase III style brake vacuum tank. The original exhaust manifolds are included with the sale. The car was entered in the 2009 Falcon GT Nationals where it took out second place in its class. The car is build number 78 and comes with its logbook, compendium, certificate of authenticity and all other related paraphernalia. The FG GT R-Spec came with a raft of changes included a launch control system, stiffer engine and transmission mounts and retuned suspension. The suspension gained stiffer upper control arm bushes, stiffer upper strut mounts and retuned dampers at the front, with the rear gaining higher spring rates, retuned dampers, a larger anti-roll bar and reinforced lower control arms. The rear also gained a wider 9-inch wheel package shod with 275/30 R19 tyres and revised toe-link settings. This "R-Spec" also ended up being a louder car than the regular GT and GT-P despite no particular changes to that effect. The R-Spec split public and owners on not only looks but the package as well. For the first and only time Ford/FPV produced a car with major changes in drive and handling. Many existing FPV owners were quick to down play what was actually quiet a good package which significantly improved drive and performance. In total, 175 units were built painted Silhouette black with red accents and a "C" stripe down each side, echoing the 2012 Ford Laguna Seca. Kinetic blue, Vixen and Winter white were the other colours available to order, featuring black accents and stripe package instead. In 2007, Ford drew inspiration from the hallowed names of the past and recreated a legend with the limited-edition FPV GT Cobra. Released at the Sydney Motor Show in both sedan and Ute models, the new GT celebrated the Cobra name last seen in the Seventies on the famous white and blue XC hardtops that scored a memorable victory at Bathurst in 1977. Indeed, the latest Cobra was unveiled on a parade lap of Mount Panorama before the 2007 Bathurst 1000, exactly 30 years after Colin Bond and Allan Moffat’s triumphant 1-2 finish. As with the first-generation Cobra’s, just 400 individually numbered examples of the new FPV GT Cobra sedan were made available, snapped up by enthusiasts, many of whom already owned one of the original XC Cobras.
This Ford FPV GT Cobra was purchased brand new by the current owner from Carmichael Ford. During that time the owner has made some mechanical upgrades to the car which include Herrod camshafts, aftermarket air box and an X Force exhaust. Other extras consist of dealer fitted Bluetooth set up and a reverse camera. The Cobra is also running factory optioned Brembo brakes. It has also been tuned and runs on 98 octane fuel. Build number is 0336/400 and it is also fitted with the six-speed manual transmission which has been fitted with a Mal Wood Quick Shifter and a Hurst style lever and Tremec gear knob. All of the original parts that have been removed from the car are included with the sale. Retaining the Ford compendium and original logbooks. This Cobra is one of only 127 examples fitted with a manual transmission and is also an ’08 build which marked 30 years since the release of the Ford Falcon XC Cobras. As far as Mustangs go it does not get much tuffer than a ’69 Fastback. This genuine Mach 1 Mustang fastback is finished in red with front and rear spoilers, rear window slats, hood scoop and Mach 1 striping and lastly the very tasteful addition of Minilite rims. Powering this pony is a mild 351 Cleveland engine with quad Weber carburettors sitting on top. For added driveability a Tremec TKO 500 five speed manual gearbox has been fitted and the car also runs a Tru Trac 9-inch diff with 31 spline axles and 3.55 gears. Since being unearthed the car has been left totally untouched, dust and all!! Underneath the layers of dirt is the highly desirable Red Pepper colour. The body presents in excellent condition for its age and is extremely solid, probably due it the car being stored for so long in a dry climate. The AC Cobra, sold in the United States as the Shelby Cobra and AC Shelby Cobra, is a sports car manufactured by British company AC Cars, with a Ford V8 engine. It was produced intermittently in both the United Kingdom and later the United States since 1962. This AC Cobra replica is based on a South African produced chassis by Hi-Tech / Superformance. With gleaming black paintwork and matt black Cobra style stripes. To keep with the race theme numbering and stencilled tyres suit this Cobra perfectly. Also sitting on period correct Halibrand wheels. Originally built and owned by Sash, renowned car restorer and engine builder from AN Racing in Sydney, the car features a 364 cube Windsor engine pumping out 580hp at the flywheel. Initially restored approximately eight years ago and only just receiving a detail including a three-step paint correction including ceramic coating. The XT Falcon range was introduced in March 1968 as a facelifted version of the XR Falcon, which it replaced. The XT featured a revised grille and taillights and improved safety features including split-system brakes, larger tyres, and electrically operated windscreen washers. Standard equipment in the luxury Fairmont models included bucket seats, front disc brakes, a heater/demister, a wood-grain dash, carpet, and courtesy lamps in all four doors. The Fairmont Wagon featured an electrically operated tailgate. The Ford Falcon (XT) is a full-size car that was produced by Ford Australia from 1968 to 1969. It was the second iteration of the second generation of the Falcon and also included the Ford Fairmont (XT)—the luxury-oriented version. An XT Falcon GT driven by Bill Gates and Jim Bertram scored an outright victory in the 1969 Rothmans 12 Hour Classic race for production cars at Surfers Paradise International Raceway on 5 January 1969. A team of three XT Falcon GTs won the Teams prize in the 1968 London-Sydney Marathon, finishing 3rd, 6th and 8th outright.
Ripe for restoration!! Muscle Car Warehouse are super excited to bring to the market this Ford Falcon XT GT “Shed Find.” This car has been unregistered and unused since 1989. This XT is the perfect entry level car into the Falcon GT market and a great base for restoration. The car was sold through Centenery Ford, Brunswick Victoria on the 28th of January 1969. It is also one of 397 XT GTs to be made in G.T Gold and one of only 1415 XTGTs produced altogether. The XT has been painted externally only at some stage of its life, but all other areas are as original and without any modifications. Inside is the standard factory black interior which is all original too with all the original hard to get pieces still intact. Even the factory radio still works as it did when the car left the showroom floor. The body of the car is extremely clean with only very minimal signs of rust and or previous rust repairs or major accidents. Under the bonnet is the original matching number 302 Windsor 4V engine that still hosts most of its original components which is coupled up to the original four speed Top Loader transmission and then finally to the 8 ¾ inch diff. The engine starts and runs extremely well having only travelled a mere 94000 miles. So again, if you are in the market for a great entry level Falcon GT that you can tinker with in the shed this is certainly one to be considered. The paintwork is in terrific condition and has all the GT blackouts including the black bonnet. Additionally, it has both front and rear spoilers and sits perfectly on period correct Bathurst Globe wheels and red wall tyres although the only factory options fitted to this car were laminated windscreen and the Superfringe Deluxe push button radio. The black interior is in great condition also and still houses an original radio and steering wheel. An aftermarket air conditioning unit has been added along with power steering for added comfort and driveability. Being built in July of 1972 means this XA GT is running the more desirable “D” block version of the 351 Cleveland engine and is still the original matching number engine and 4V heads. Muscle Car Warehouse are now offering for sale this stunning 1970 ZD Fairlane K code. With its striking factory Track Red colour and Ultra White roof, together with the beautiful white vinyl interior this car is a one of a kind and bound to turn heads wherever it goes. It is believed as little as 16 ZD Fairlane’s were made in Track Red. The paintwork is in terrific condition and so too are all the mouldings and chrome work. The car has been treated to a set of five slot wheels and freshly red walled tyres. The adjusted ride height also suits the long lines of the Fairlane perfectly. The trim in the Fairlane is all to factory specifications with rare options such as integrated air conditioning and an original 8 track radio tape player. While the original air conditioning is not operational a much more functional under dash unit has been added. There Is also the addition of extra gauges to monitor the healthy 351 lurking under the hood. The pearl painted steering wheel is a tasteful touch and adds that hot rod feel to the car but remains quite subtle. Under the bonnet is a healthy 351 Cleveland motor once again with tasteful dress ups such as alloy rocker covers, purposeful aftermarket air cleaner and an alloy radiator. Teaming up with the engine is an FMX auto with a 4000 convertor and lastly the original 9” diff with a Detroit Locker centre. When rebuilt the driveline had upwards of $30,000 spent on it. The restoration was completed approximately 14 years ago and has its current condition is testament to all the work that was done. The XR series was introduced in September 1966. The XR series was initially offered in nine different models: Falcon, Falcon 500, and Fairmont sedans, Falcon, Falcon 500, and Fairmont wagons, Falcon and Falcon 500 utilities, and the Falcon Van. The new wagons shared the 111-inch (2,800 mm) wheelbase with the XR sedans, unlike the 1966 US Falcon wagons which featured a 115-inch (2,900 mm) wheelbase. The Falcon 500 replaced the Falcon Deluxe of the XP series[2] and the two-door hardtop body style available in the XP series was not offered in the XR range in Australia. The marketing focus on the Falcon’s relationship with the Mustang’s sporty appeal led to Ford introducing a Falcon GT variant of the XR in 1967, featuring a 225 bhp version of the 289 cubic inch Windsor V8 engine, sourced from the Ford Mustang. The GT heralded the dawn of the Aussie muscle car. All the original XR GTs were painted in the colour GT Gold, except for eight that were Gallaher Silver and another five that were Russet Bronze, Sultan Maroon, Polar White, Avis White, and Ivy Green.

Believed to be one of only 596 examples made by Ford Australia and rarely offered for sale. This example was built in August of 1967 and with some minor repairs and maintenance would make a nice weekend cruiser or if you chose to, restore, and add to your collection. This XR GT appears to have had a full in and out respray in its original GT Gold colour at some stage of its life and is now showing signs of aging. Original Gt badges and hubcaps are still retained on the vehicle. While also displaying signs of wear and tear the interior in this car appears to have never been redone and is all original including the gear shifter with lock out reverse function, original steering wheel, dash, and gauges too. The 289 V8 Windsor engine runs well but has been replaced and is not the original matching number item. The four-speed manual transmission and diff are original also. The Ford Falcon XW is a full-size car that was produced by Ford Australia from 1969 to 1970. It was the third iteration of the second generation of the Falcon and also included the Ford Futura and the Ford Fairmont the luxury-oriented version. The XW Falcon was released in June 1969 replacing the XT Falcon. The XW was an extensive facelift of the XT, featuring a new grille and taillights. All exterior panels were new, and the interior was extensively redesigned. Production of the XW Falcon range totalled 105,785 vehicles. 2,287 XW Falcon GTs and 662 XW GT-HOs were built. The XW Falcon was replaced by the XY Falcon in October 1970.

2014 FORD FG FPV PURSUIT UTE. The FG series Falcon was first previewed at a press event on 17 February 2008 and sold until October 2014. As with the previous Falcon BA BF series, Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) produced high-performance versions of the Falcon FG. They included the F6 and V8-powered GT, GT-P and the GT E variants of the sedan the F6 Ute and V8-powered Pursuit and Super Pursuit models based on the Falcon Ute. Standard features included an alloy sports bar, black soft tonneau cover, high-flow dual-outlet exhaust system and high-series performance brakes comprising 322mm front and 305mm rear rotors. Prestige paint is the only option and nine exterior combinations are available, including a standard bonnet/roof stripe package that cannot be deleted. It’s accompanied by the GT F’s gloss-black ‘racoon eye’ headlight surrounds and a matching finish on the door-handles, mirrors and rear bumper. Only 120 examples were produced. Now ready for sale is this stunning Ford FG FPV Pursuit ute. As you can see this FPV has only been used very sparingly and has not even travelled 5,000 kilometres. The striking Kinetic Blue paintwork is perfect, and the factory Matt Black stripes compliment it just perfectly. This colour being one of only five colours available at the time and one of only nine colour combinations available altogether. 1970 Ford Falcon XW GT was the first GT with the trademark ‘Super Roo, stickers, stripes, twin driving lights and a factory big fuel tank across the GT range, had race written all over it and with its success at Bathurst for that year by racing car driver Allan Moffat in the HO version made the GT an instant Aussie classic with the public and boosting sales, also has been considered to be the toughest looking Falcon GT by many car enthusiasts to date. Sold between March 1972 and September 1973, the XA series was the first Falcon to be designed (with assistance from Ford’s US headquarters) and manufactured in Australia. It featured an entirely new body which was larger and more roomy than that of its XY series predecessor, giving it the “coke-bottle” look. The XA range also had a longer list of options, although the choice of engines carried over from the previous XY Falcon range. All V8 302 CID and most 351 CID “Cleveland” engines were now Aussie made. Wagons, Utes, and Panel Vans now featured a longer wheelbase than the sedan. Fairmont wagons had a dual-action tailgate that could be opened either downwards or sideways, optional on base model Falcon and Falcon 500 Wagons. The addition of a two-door hardtop to the range marked the first time that this body style had been offered on an Australian Falcon since the XP series of 1965–1966. This option was available in the subsequent XB and XC models, though very scarce. A total of 129,473 XAs were built. While successful, the XA Falcon range proved to be short-lived as it gained a significant frontal appearance update to become the XB series in September 1973.

The GT had a Tickford Vehicle Engineering Ford SVO GT40 5.0 litre V8, producing 200 kilowatts (268 hp) of power due to the special SVO GT40 cylinder heads, a high compression ratio of 9.0:1, large valves, heavy-duty valve springs, roller cam followers, fuel injection with a large throttle body and exhaust extractors. The manual version had a heavy-duty clutch, strengthened gears and a short-throw gearshift as standard. Handling was improved with a larger anti-roll bar, urethane bushes, higher-rate springs and retuned front shock absorbers. The EL GT had a 3.45 ratio differential with a live axle and its top speed was around 230 km/h (140 mph). Unlike what was first anticipated, the 30th anniversary EL Falcon GT was based loosely on the Fairmont Ghia rather than the XR models, with only 250 built for Australia - 135 were (4 Speed) automatic and 115 were (5 speed) manual. 15 extra EL GT Falcons were built for New Zealand and 2 of those went to South Africa.

Ford launched an all-new Falcon model in March 1979 and the XD/XE/XF range went on to prove hugely successfully throughout the 1980s, ultimately eclipsing Holden’s Commodore as Australia’s most popular family car. Mechanically simple, the new Falcon was slightly smaller than the outgoing XC model while the running gear was carried over with few changes. The XD was sold in both sedan and station wagon versions, plus the usual commercials, while the model line-up consisted of the base Falcon GL, mid-range Fairmont and upmarket Fairmont Ghia, later joined by the stretched luxury Fairlane and LTD models. In July 1980 Ford introduced a new alloy cylinder head across all six-cylinder models, improving both power and fuel economy, along with electronic ignition and revised cooling. To inject a little sparkle into the range, Ford also announced a highperformance model dubbed the ESP (which stood for European Sports Pack), to evoke the spirit of the earlier GTs. Offering a unique colour palette, colour-coded grille, Marshal fog lamps, front spoiler and 15-inch Globe alloy rims shod with low profile tyres, the improvements were more than just skin deep. Bilstein gas shock absorbers, heavy-duty anti-roll bars and stiffer springs improved the Falcon’s handling, and the ESP came with four-wheel disc brakes, a limited-slip diff and quick ratio steering as standard. Under the bonnet, the ESP was equipped with Ford’s 4.1-litre six and a four-speed manual gearbox as standard, although the 5.8-litre V8 remained optional. Interior changes included Scheel front seats with cloth trim and full instrumentation, making the package the most sought-after and collectible of the XD Falcon models.
Here for sale is a lovely example of an XD ESP Fairmont Ghia. Built in November of 1981 and finished in Silver Grey and starting life as a humble six cylinder car, it has been tastefully upgraded to a more desirable 351 Cleveland approximately five years ago. Before being fitted the 351 engine was treated to a rebuild and recently treated to a reconditioned carburettor, coil, leads and spark plugs also. A new PWR branded radiator with electric fans keeps it all cool to ensure many hours of enjoyable cruising. Backing up the 351 engine is a reconditioned C4 automatic built by Transmit and was installed only nine months ago. The diff is the original one with 3.23 gear ratios. The braking system and suspension have also been recently overhauled with a new brake booster, master cylinder, rebuilt front and rear calipers, new discs front and rear, new shocks (Bilsteins in the rear), new springs and all new bushes. The undercarriage was cleaned and sprayed with Gravelex rubberised coating to protect it all from rust. The ESP has had a closed door respray and the engine has also been painted. NOS pinstripes, door hinge pins and headlights have been restored also using NOS adjusting pins. Inside still retains all its exclusive ESP features from the Mid Grey Scheel seats, red clock and matching red illumination on the dashboard instruments. Also features NOS carpet, new front seat belts, its correct webbing and new seatbelt buckle buttons. The car is also still sitting on its original Bathurst Globe rims including the matching spare and also the original jack. Also comes with a Ford verification letter confirming European Sports Pack option, original 16:1 steering box, original Pioneer stereo head unit and SEV Marchal driving lights. The AC Cobra, sold in the United States as the Shelby Cobra and AC Shelby Cobra, is a sports car manufactured by British company AC Cars, with a Ford V8 engine. It was produced intermittently in both the UK and later the USA since 1962. With some help from Ford Motor Company and a small team of mechanics, the first Shelby Cobra was introduced in 1962. It was powered by Ford’s 260 engine, and later with the 289 and 427 V8, and it pretty soon took the sports car world by a storm. The combination of lightweight body, small dimensions and brute US power proved to be revolutionary and the car did extremely well in competition all around the world.
This modern day version of the AC Cobra was manufactured by the “Kit Car Centre” in Boksburg, South Africa. The Kit Car Centre built these Cobra’s from 1982 through to 2003 before being bought out by Backdraft Racing. They are longer and wider for added comfort also. It is believed all of them were fitted with Chev engines just like the one we have here which is fitted with a 454 big block Chev engine!! Atop of this big block monster is Hilborn style electronic fuel injection with MSD ignition and aluminium heads producing in excess of 300kw at the rear wheels!! The transmission is a Turbo 400 and the diff is a Ford 9” running Porsche brakes and four link suspension. This beast is not for the faint hearted!! On the outside the Cobra is nothing but eye popping!! The Ford Falcon FG is a full-sized car that was produced by Ford Australia from 2008 to 2014. It was the first iteration of the seventh and last generation of this Australian-made model.
The one here for sale is the limited edition “XR50” which was introduced in conjunction with the release of the Falcon 50th Anniversary range. To differentiate the limited-edition models, Falcon XR 50th Anniversary sedan featured “Medium Stealth” colour accents on its upper and lower grilles, fog lamp bezels, a rear bumper insert and alloy wheels. There was just 1585 XY Fairmont Gts built for the South African market during 71-72, which followed on from a handful of the previous generation of XW Fairmont GTs. This was Ford Australia’s export version of the Falcon GT, which had a number of unique features distinguishing it from its Australian counterpart. As opposed to the “Super Roo”, the South African GT is known as the “Super Rhino” There are two reasons the Gt’s were badged Fairmont GT in South Africa; 1. South Africa never had a Falcon at the time, only Fairmont XR and XT. Therefore to keep the model name continuing, when the XW and XY GT’s were sold there, they re-badged them to be a Fairmont GT. 2. South Africa had imported a Canadian Falcon in the late 60’s. This is far from a computer-tickle-and-decals special. The small but passionate teams at FPV wanted to go out with a BANG and something iconic, not just cosmetics and marketing waffle, and as a result, the GT-F boasts the best hardware available from FPV running a 5.0Lt V8 Supercharged producing 351KW.
It follows the same format as 2012’s GT R-Spec, featuring its mixed-width wheel and tyre package (including 19 x 9.0-inch rear alloys wearing 275/30R19 Dunlops) and the now-discontinued GT-P’s premium brakes – 355mm cross-drilled front discs with six-piston Brembo calipers, and 330mm cross-drilled rears with four-piston Brembo calipers.
GT-F’s suspension tune also mirrors the R-Spec – higher spring rates, re-tuned Sachs monotube dampers, stiffer front upper control arm bushes, stiffer upper suspension mounts, a larger 19mm rear anti-roll bar, reinforced rear lower control arms and a revised toe setting on the rear wheel alignment to improve turn-in, plus stiffer transmission mounts to “reduce powertrain and driveline movement under load”. GT-F’s blacked-out styling package – gloss-black ‘raccoon eyes’, full black upper grille, black-bezel headlights and tail-lights, black door handles, a big gloss-black rear spoiler, and a gloss-black diffuser. Then there’s the stripe package, which the designers used to enhance the Falcon’s shape. Offered for sale is this Steve Ellery Racing-built Ford Falcon BA V8 Supercar, raced by the Supercheap Auto Team in 2003 & 2004.
This car was driven as the #31 Falcon by Steve Ellery and finished second in the 2003 Sandown 500 with Luke Youlden co-driving and third in that year’s Bathurst 1000 with the same driving combination.
Restored to its 2004 livery and has only had a few practice hours on the rebuilt engine, gearbox and diff. It also comes with an extensive spares package.

The John Goss Special was a limited edition Ford Falcon release by Ford Australian in 1975 to commemorate John Goss’ win in the Bathurst 1000 endurance race the year before. The car was based on the XB Falcon 500 Hardtop and featured a V8 302ci Cleveland and some specific options including the GS Rally Pack which featured full dash instrumentation, 12 slot wheels , 3 spoke steering wheel and a vented bonnet with locking pins. This particular car is painted in stunning Polar White with an Emerald Fire metallic offset, with polar white painted 12 slots. Genuine 6/1971 Ford Falcon XY GTHO Phase 3 in Vermilion Fire with all original Black trim, HO 4V Cleveland, 4 speed long shaft top loader, Nodular 9inch Diff and super fringe radio . After the HO PHASE3 hit our local Dealers it was instant success by the consumer as it backed it self at Bathurst Mount Panorama in 1st place. As a podium standout the PHASE3 was then known as King of the road and statistically the fastest production sedan ever built but only a limited number of 300 were produced, therefore made it an instant collectible and highly desirable to own and drive especially in this colour combo as it represented the colour scheme of the real race version back in 1971. Fast forward to current times it has become a great investment not only by the true enthusiast but super funds also. A wolf in sheep’s clothing!! The Interceptor Falcons were built from Falcon GT 54H body shells including full Falcon GT running gear, larger radiator support with top brace, front crossmember step down plate and dual exhausts. All in a Falcon 500 disguise. New South Wales cars were fitted with FMX automatic transmissions while the Victorian cars were fitted with four speed Top Loader transmissions. This example is finished in Cruise Blue which was a government colour with contrasting tu-tone blue vinyl interior and was used by the New South Wales Police force for highway patrol duties in the Sydney CBD area. The engine is still its original matching numbers 351 Cleveland with 4V heads and FMX automatic transmission. It has also been featured in Unique Car magazine where it also graced the front cover. The XA model first introduced in (1972-1973), a totally new design, was the first Falcon completely designed and built in Australia , designers had the opportunity of designing a (pillar-less variant) and a more ‘Australianised’ car. The result was a bulky coke bottle design, sleek in appearance featuring a bigger body, roomy interior and the feel of a fighter pilot cockpit (dashboard), available with a wider choice of engines and a longer list of options on offer. During the time of the XA build, Ford had already closed down its Falcon(XA) GT HO Phase IV program in the wake of the ‘supercar scare’ in 1972. with enough parts left over from the homologated Phase IV model, Ford created a special batch of XA GT’s called (RPO83) Regular Production Option with a total build number of 250 (120 hardtops and 130 sedans), all were virtually unique which featured a bigger 780 cfm carburettor, extractors, a long-range fuel tank and a baffled sump, some extra components such as long shaft top loader gearbox and a Detroit locker nodular iron 9″ diff were also added to the list but not necessarily documented on the build sheet and quietly sold them off without making a fuss and taking away the spotlight of its predecessor as they were destine to top sales with public demand and popularity, they have become arguably as collectible as the XY GT HO Phase3
In fact, the XA model arguably the boldest design of any Falcon model to date this is about true-blue Australian muscle car majesty, with the XA model claiming Bathurst podiums 2 years in a row and being the only Ford model to do so of the 70’s makes this a special model to acquire and add to any collection as it is sure to appreciate in value by leaps & bounds in the future. In 1973, the XB Falcon (sold with the slogan “The Great Australian Road Car”) was introduced with more aggressive styling, a multifunction control stalk (indicators, high beam, horn), new colours including colour-coded bumpers on the GT variants, and minor trim variations. Engine options carried over from the XA-series. The GT variant of the XB also included four-wheel disc brakes. The twin driving lights remained, as did the bonnet locks. The bonnet scoops of the GT were now integrated into the “power bulge” on the bonnet, the bumpers were now body-coloured, and the power bulge, wheel arches, sills, and valances were painted in a contrasting colour to the body colour dependent upon the actual body colour.
This XBGT was entered and issued with a Cannonball Run number plate, 240. The race covered 3,755 kilometres stretching from Darwin, down the Stuart Highway all the way to Alice Springs. The 1994 Cannonball Run was a legal event run in the Northern Territory, Australia from 22 May to 27 May 1994. Being built in May of 1976 makes this car special also as it is one of only 13 cars finished in Outback Bronze with Walnut Glow accents. The saddle trim also presents nicely. It still wears its original 12 slots wheels with centre caps as well as other original items such as the radio cassette and long-range fuel tank. Currently running a healthy 351 4V Cleveland (JG66- XAGT Coupe engine) which sounds awesome through the side exiting exhaust and backed by a 4 speed Top Loader and 9” diff. Overall this is a solid and great survivor car which is ready to race or simply be a weekend cruiser. Now available for inspection at our Kogarah facility.
The XB GT represents the end of an era and is the final chapter in the legendary Ford Falcon GT story. Launched in September 1973, the XB range was restyled with a new split grille, one-piece taillights and some significant mechanical improvements such as the option of four-wheel discbrakes. Having continued the GT lineage with the previous XA, Ford again offered a high performance version of the new XB, moving away from the fire-breathing XR-XY GTs and pitched instead as a more refined GT for the mature executive. Powered by the 351 V8 with a four-barrelcarburettor and developing 300bhp at 5400 rpm, the XB GT certainly wasn't lacking in grunt and could still turn the quarter mile in 15.8 seconds on its way to a theoretical top speed of 200 km/h. With a choice of four-speed Top Loader, Borg Warner Single Rail or three-speed F.M.X automatic transmissions, the XB GT had a limited-slip differential as standard. The XB GT was again sold in either sedan or hardtop guise with blacked-out bonnet, grille and rear panels plus GT badges and luxurious interior. One area the XB GT was improved over its predecessor was the optional fourwheel disc brakes and the press generally sang the praises of the new model - Sports Car World magazine headlined the car as "Ford refines the stormer". In total there were 1950 sedans and 949 hardtop XB GTs built before production ceased in June 1976.
Muscle Car Warehouse is super excited to bring you this irreplaceable example of a Falcon GT, this one of one Ford Falcon XB GT sedan finished in special order colour, New England Green paint code Y051. Believed to be originally one of two made in this particular colour. The first one of the two was stolen and never recovered and this example was ordered as a replacement. This car, built in April 1976 and delivered through “Holmesford” on August 30th, 1976 with a host of factory options such as power steering, integrated air conditioning, power windows and the king of all options, a Golde windback sunroof!! Additional to these options it also features cloth interior, which is all original except for replacement cloth in both front seats, original carpets, radio tape player, tu-tone hood, delete exterior wax, long range fuel tank and an FMX automatic transmission. Dealership accessories consisted of side body protection moulds, electric aerial and internal boot release. Still wearing its original twelve slot wheels with original dress rims, centre caps and period type B.F Goodrich Lifesaver tyres. The GT has been lovingly cared for and maintained by alloy its owners for its whole forty-five year life. Thankfully its original logbook, owners manual and an extensive document trail have also been retained with the car too which verify the 149,000 it has travelled. The car is believed to have had 7-8 owners. As you can see this car has never been restored but instead lovingly maintained by all of its previous owners. Falcon GT nationals award winning car. Being the only one left in existence it is a genuine one of one car and goes without question that it belongs in any serious Falcon GT collection or any car collection for that matter.
